Kalia Beach Hotel

Having not even booked this hotel ourselves (the original one has closed for the window so got sent here) on arrival at night was told we could get drinks from the bar as we were all inclusive, get to the bar and find out you have to pay from 1030pm, what a joke even water as you can’t even drink the tap water. The room was pleasant no kettle no air con this is an additional cost (never had that in my life) No soaps or shower gels always got supplied this when booking hotels. Let’s move on to the food, I have never seen so much rubbish been served up.. breakfast was literally toast unless you liked all this processed food. Coffee was horrid and no word of a lie the button smelt and tasted of sick we even checked the expiry date and tried it a different day. It’s the same old meals daily, you can have anything if you come off the street and pay but us as paying guest get the basic of food. Each day was like Groundhog Day same food tasted bland. In the end we ate out a lot as it was much nicer. The last day we stayed by the pool and you could only get ice cream or snacks from 3-530. This was 3 tubs of ice cream a tub of cones and a scoop to do it yourself! The snacks well 2/3 things left each day not very good for an all inclusive restaurant. Asked a member of staff about day trips said you will when to come back and ask at 7am and the trip we wanted to go on left at 640 so missed that and the etc day we were going home… Not worth the money and certainly not what I call all inclusive ………

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Rooms are so clean fresh and up to date. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis, the staff were all amazing, so friendly and welcoming any questions or help and they were on it. Buffet was so nice, always somthing for everyone, the lady doing the breakfasts and lunch she was so nice and made sure we had everything we needed. I can't wait to go back. Thank You Kalia Beach our stay was perfect ️️️

We enjoyed out stay. Service was good as we were expecting. Food was actually pretty good, you can choose different meal everyday (even tho some are repeated). Staff was welcoming and kind. Bar was pretty good, drinks were not water down for all inclusive. There are lots of beaches around you can go and choose. It is in quiet area and if you want some night fun it is easy to go to the centre od Kato Gouvés and enjoy yourself. I can see myself go to this hotel again.

Great hotel. Very clean and fresh towels every day. Meals were good with a large selection of dishes. A special mention for Natalie on reception. She spoke great English, always had a smile and was really helpful with her local knowledge. She made us feel so welcome, is an absolute star and and asset to the hotel.

First of all, do not get fooled by all the 5,4 star reviews, trust me when I say even the cheapest 4* resort in northern Africa has higher standards. I highly doubt that this hotel can call itself 4*, it is 3* AT BEST. There is basically nothing on the room (no toiletries, cups for water, fridge empty), you don't get pool towels, there is nothing to do in leisure time as seen in other 4 star resorts I had been to (in Egypt, Turkey) like gym, maybe some sports (not even table tennis), spa, any people to make sure you're having fun (aqua gym, programs etc.), no club for children to play in, no evening programs like music etc. Literally just the pool. What's even worse is that there isn't much to do outside of the hotel except for shopping, so you can't really make yourself some fun without lending a car. Food here is probably the worst thing. You do not get any water for the room (even though you shouldn't drink tap water) and the water that they serve at courses throughout the day tastes absolutely disgusting and smells even worse. The night we arrived we had to go at 3am to some bar to get us some water! Do not expect this to be all inclusive even though you think it is - some things on the beach bar are paid (f.e. bottled water if you're like me and don't want to drink the awful water) and the food!? Not even kidding when I tell you that each and everyone here has the same exact plates because there just isn't a variety of food. Like every course is 5 boxes of things and salad and that's it. And you'll get the exact same 5 boxes of food everyday for everything. Plus it tastes horribly, for dinners we had to eat out and lunches we had to make ourself instant noodles using hot water from the hotel lunch. And ot wasn't just us who were disappointed, we heard basically every table there say the same. Staff here is unpleasant as well. Everything is super chaotic and no one knows what they're actually doing (f.e. bartenders are barely 18 kids who have no idea what goes in cocktails that are on the menu). We had problems with our room so we discussed this with main receptionist/manager and she is very audacious to say the least. Everyone has an unpleasant tone in their voice, horrible. Rooms are ok. Even though we were given a room with no private balcony as was promised to us. We got a room underground (?) with the view from our "terrace" (that was accessible to everyone and we couldn't hang anything there) that was basically just a wall. We got another room after though. The rooms aren't cleaned properly, sheets not being changed as you'd expect - only towels. Left wanting to go home. Do not come here.

I can say rooms were excellent. But food disaster. Only rice and french fries and french fries and rice. Really bad for 4 stars and all inclusive. And i never in Greece bad situation that for all inclusive you dont have bottled water i mean for all inclusive

Positives first, the room was lovley could do with some drawers as nowhere near enough for a family of 4, nice pool, not enough sunbeds for guests ( when we were there people had to sit on table and chairs as no sunbeds left.) Nearly all the staff work so hard and are so friendly, rooms and surroundings very clean,gentleman plays greek music in dining room is lovley. Now on to food:- the hotel also own a restaurant ( which partially blocks your view of the sea) and run out of the kitchen that serves the guests if people walking in the street choose a-la-cart they sit there but they can also pick buffet which means they sit in the hotels restaurant and get given seats that overlook the sea and you have to sit indoors, main meat served was turkey wings and pork, food was mixed in weird sauces and when we eventually had chicken breast they ran out !!! Only for us to watch them take some out to the restaurant. Onto drinks very weak alcoholic drinks also the main bar man made sexual innuendos to my 17 year old!!! And then at a later date said you English always hungry & have no food cos brexit,just because she went to get another ice cream as she gave hers to her dad.if you look back to 2019 review it's exactly the same, clean but sort your food out and speak to your staff !!! Definitely not 4star. Even the locals mentioned we should have gone to one of the other hotels as is known for bad food/drink...Fortunately we didn't pay too much for this holiday if we'd payed £3500 upwards for 4 people would have been livid

With regret we did not enjoy our stay at the Kalia Beach hotel. The hotel was refurbished to a good standard and had ok facilities but not what I would regard as 4 star, for instance, you get a kettle in a travelodge but not in this 4 star hotel, so don’t be miss lead by the rating, 3 star tops. The bedrooms were comfortable and the en site shower rooms were good and so was the maid service who popped in everyday. The staff at the hotel were nice and friendly for the most part. The downside to the hotel was the food and drink which was poor to say the least, the food just did not hit the spot even those we had been told it was fresh, in our opinion, was re cycled on many occasions and was not cooked for quality, more to cater for mass numbers on a budget. There was no taste control or change in the menu and the bar service was not friendly just what do you want and again no quality in the drink you got, plus it was all cheap alternatives which made for a poor drink. Such a shame as this was a holiday that we had to wait 20 years to do. Would never go back and I would think carefully before choosing the all inclusive option for this hotel as we had to eat out most lunches and every evening to enjoy our holiday which costs us money we did not have, but had to do to enjoy our time away. This could be a good hotel with changes to the service and quality which I am not sure will happen. I did ask for a feedback form, but they did not have one!! Says a lot about the care of the owners. This only got a 2 start review because of some of the staff and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Fantastic hotel, we had a great time. Rooms are spotless, cleaned every day as well as all of the public areas which are also spotless. The staff are so friendly and helpful, can't do enough for you. Food and drinks were really good, always lots of choice and fresh. Would highly recommend anyone to come here.
