Good service, good communication, easy booking, suitable for solo travellers.

Przyjechałem o 1:00 ze względu na późne zameldowanie. Zgodnie z ******* instrukcjami dotyczącymi zameldowania, zameldowanie miało się odbyć w recepcji hotelu Keflavik. Kiedy poszedłem do recepcji, nie było tam żadnego personelu, ponieważ dołączyła do przyjęcia weselnego. Kiedy próbowaliśmy się zameldować, zostaliśmy poinformowani, że ******* przepełnił nasz pokój. Nie mogliśmy się zameldować i nie było wolnych pokoi. Powiedziano nam, abyśmy w tym czasie poszukali innego hotelu w deszczu i porannym lotem. Większość hoteli w okolicy była wyprzedana. Skończyło się na tym, że zatrzymaliśmy się w innym hotelu, płacąc 200 dolarów za noc tylko za 5 godzin. Najgorsze doświadczenie w podróży w Keflavik na Islandii.

Guesthouse Keflavik had all we needed for a good night of sleep and decent calories ingestion at the morning breakfast. Truly recommend to anyone arriving in Iceland to stay over there. There are two shared bathrooms, which is great for just 5 rooms.

Very good breakfast with lots of choices but make sure you are there at least an hour before the breakfast is closed as they do not fill the plates again. Overall clean and comfortable rooms. Ours was for four people with two bunkbeds so a little tight with all the luggages , but we managed to get by.

Cozy place, good location, awesome breakfast, which is served in the hotel's restaurant. We were positively shocked how good everything here has been! :) It is warmly recommended to anyone, who needs a place to stay for 1+ nights.

Room was great, shared bathrooms always clean. Buffet breakfast was a bonus! We had numerous options for food, drinks and 24hr convenience stores all within walking distance. A good spot if you want somewhere quieter then the main city.

I don’t have any complaints - staff were great, breakfast buffet was awesome. Room was clean as was the shared washrooms. It was less then a 10min walk to various restaurants, pubs and stores. Definitely worth considering when traveling to Keflavik.

I really enjoyed my stay at the guesthouse. It was in front of the Hotel Keflavik, and situated in a very nice location. I was able to use the facilities of the hotel as well, for example breakfast and storing my luggage there. The guesthouse was very clean and comfortable, bathrooms were tidy, everything was very well organized.

Arrived to the Keflavik Airport around 12:30 at night, took about an hour to hail a taxi and got to Guesthouse around 2 am. Check-in is at the front desk of the hotel across the street, which was very simple. You go up some steps, open a door, and you are greeted with a hallway with around 10 rooms, 2 bathrooms on the left side that are shared between all the rooms. The room itself is practically a shoebox. It was clean, looked nice, and the bathroom worked as it should. However, the only reason I booked this hotel was because I saw that it had a sauna, and since I only had one night in Iceland and wanted to recover after a late journey, I was really looking forward to it. Finding out that it's in service and has been for a while at the front desk was pretty irritating. Not typically a karen, but when that's pretty much the main reason I selected a place and there was no note anywhere that the sauna is out of service currently, it's very aggravating. Other than that, breakfast at the hotel across the street (came with the room) was incredible - so much variety, lots of healthy options, coffee machine with multiple delicious tasting grounds. If you can afford it, Guesthouse is a good option. But be aware - the room is TINY. Even a single hostel bedroom is larger, and those go for half the price.
