ABC Hotel by Reykjavik Keflavik Airport

冰島的旅店除了品牌店、大致都是一般！建議住在市中心！ 公車一張老人票$3元美金（此生坐最昂貴的公車）計程車動則100元起跳，光是交通費，可以在市中心住上$500美金的飯店。可以省下很多時間，充裕的欣賞更多景點！

Okay—room was clean. Nice and quiet place (aside from airport noise). Building is weird. Looks like a converted dormitory or military barracks. Warning: The GPS coordinates they sent in their confirmation email were incorrect and sent us to a random building down the road; best to just put in the address.

It was a good, clean, warm, no frills room. Served it’s purpose. Would stay there again.

We came in late and needed a place to stay close to the airport/car rental that was inexpensive (relatively). This met those needs. Rooms were large and bed comfortable.

I booked expecting free breakfast, and wasn’t notified until the day before (via email) that breakfast wasn’t being served. The shower didn’t properly drain and flooded the bathroom floor (which I cleaned up with towels—I didn’t want to be bothered by having someone else into the room or by relocating). The tea pot was dirty. I could hear the neighbor next door snoring. All that being said, checkin was easy and I slept well. Outside of the teapot, the room was clean.

It was very close to the airport. It was easy to find. It is a very old property that has never been updated. It is a two star stay for a four star price. But, as Iceland goes, it was a warm room, good, shower, conveniently located. Comfortable enough beds. Spacious for Iceland standards,which was helpful with organizing the luggage for travel home.

Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Stains on furniture and bedding. No second lock on the door. Did not feel comfortable here.

This hotel is great for what it is, a place to crash pre/post an early/late flight. Beds were comfy and room was spacious. However, if you are travelling without a car I would not recommend this place. We left on a Sunday and the hotel has paid shuttles but they only run until 7:30am. Our flight was mid-afternoon. We thought we could walk, but there are no sidewalks leading to the airport (just a rocky path). We had to walk into town to catch a bus that only came every two hours (because it was Sunday). So be cautious if you do not have a car. If you have a car, this place is great.

No toilet roll in the bathroom, we arrived on a late flight, it’s self check in so no staff to ask and I wasn’t going to phone them to come out at midnight. We arrived around 11.45pm. Searched around other areas of the building and found one roll of toilet paper in a toilet in their lobby. Only 2 small thin pillows, 1 each, could feel the mattress through it…very uncomfortable. The windows are high up above head height making it ridiculously awkward to close the blinds and the old curtains don’t reach far enough across. The tiny sink in the bathroom is ludicrous. It’s got a shelf above it and they’ve set the sink too far back, so when you brush your teeth or wash your face you have to squeeze under the shelf or get water all over the floor and sink stand…it’s stupid! 2 towels, one was threadbare with holes in it. Cheap black table chipped and scuffed. No lift so you’ll have to carry your suitcases up. I can’t recommend this place. I’ve stayed in cheap hostels way better than this.
