Spending Diwali in hills is a pure bliss for us. We normally escape from the city of crackers to serene of silence, from the lights of firecrackers to the star lights of the night sky, and that too with the chilly cold and smokey environment of pure clouds. All of our expectations were fulfilled this year's Diwali too when we visited Mount View at Dhanaulti. Location and view wise, I feel this is one of the best hotel in Dhnaulti. Any room you choose, will fulfill your dreams of seeing the snowcapped mountains being in room only. We chose the room with private balcony with glass windows giving almost 180 deg view of the entire area. Rooms do have basic amenities like electric kettle, room heaters, geysers etc. However, tea bags and coffee sachets were not provided and this forced us to order tea and coffee from the room service for which we don't regret too :) Service staffs are good, well behaved and try their best to serve fast. Food quality is good and tasty; however, options are restricted. Specially, breakfast options must be increased as per my suggestion. They have their own parking and space is sufficient to accommodate decent numbers of cars even if the hotel is crowded. Overall, this is a great choice at Dhanaulti within a very decent budget for all kinds of rooms. Special thanks to Sanajay ji (Manager) and Nautiyal ji (one of the aged staff) who took care of us very nicely and I truly appreciate their hospitality.
