The Cottages at Cabot Cove

We stayed in 'Endless Summer', and we had such an enjoyable time. The cottages are all adorable on the outside - each with its' own little sitting area and garden. The interior was very nicely decorated and appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was normal sized - not tiny. The hosts provide sweet little amenities during your stay, and the cove is beautiful, either to relax next to or enjoy with a rowboat or kayak. Gorgeous flowers and plants are everywhere - it does indeed evoke a feel of "Endless Summer".

We enjoyed our stay at Cabot Cove. They were meticulous with every detail for our comfort. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of, check-in and check-out were smooth, we enjoyed our delivered breakfasts and afternoon snacks, they did a great job with the daily cleaning, they offered great suggestions for restaurants and activities, we used the bikes they provided and finally enjoyed a glass of wine in front of the fire pit. I would highly recommend this wonderful place for a peaceful and relaxing stay!

This was exactly what we wanted, a quaint Maine summertime getaway from the Texas heat. These cottages are located in the perfect location. We walked pretty much everywhere during our stay! They even had bikes guests could use to get around but we preferred to leisurely stroll. Only a 10-15 minute walk to Dock Square. The nature surrounding the cottages was stunning. I saw plenty of cute chipmunks and we got a kick out of watching geese in and around the cove. It is a tidal cove so the water comes and goes. There were so many good spots to read outside. Our cottage, the Anchorage Studio, was the smallest of all the cottages I believe. But it was still a perfect size for a couple. The personal touches like the warm greeting we received, daily breakfast deliveries to our door, random warm chocolate chip cookie deliveries, and even our warm goodbye upon departing (which included a painting of the cottages!) were a standout. The bed we had was a little lumpy but it ended up working out fine, no sore back or neck! Overall, I was very happy with our stay. It really is such a unique little place! We definitely want to make our way back one day.

We loved the setting at Cabot Cove, peaceful and quiet, and it was very close to the town. The staff was soooo nice and friendly, especially the young lady who serviced our room. Our cottage was serviced every day and very clean. We received delicious chocolate whoopee pies upon arrival, a warm continental breakfast delivered to our door daily (although one day was a delicious pecan roll and my husband is allergic to nuts!), and an afternoon snack! Then a goodie bag upon departure! We would choose a different cabin to stay in - our cabin, Seamist #8, was one of a few that didn't have a little front porch/area with Adirondack chairs to sit on with our morning coffee....it had a small side patio with an old table and chairs. The"sharp" knives were so dull that we even had a hard time cutting cheese :(. And the queen-sized bed was not comfortable - we're used to that size but we rolled together in the middle all night. As another reviewer said, the cottages are VERY small, so be aware....we had nowhere to open our suitcases! We would recommend getting a cottage that's a bigger option even if more money. We wish the office could supply ice (we asked but there didn't) - there was one ice cube tray in our freezer which only lasted a couple drinks. All in all, we would stay there again but choose a different cabin.

The cottages are adorable, clean and comfortable. I appreciated the friendliness of the staff and cleaning people were great! My only complaint is that we stayed in the anchorage cottage, it’s attached to the utilities building and office and was a bit noisy in the morning. Sleeping was hard to do at 5:00am and on. But otherwise I would stay here again but choose a different room. Although, I am gluten and dairy free the last two days of our stay they accommodated me with their breakfast and snacks. I highly recommend this place.

This was one of the most enjoyable experiences we have ever had.The cottages are meticulous and the grounds are pristine The location is the best ( within walking distance to town and along a beautiful stretch of beach) From check in to check out every detail was covered. Breakfast delivered fresh to our doorstep each morning, a small kitchenette and refrigerator so that you can make coffee and store items, robes to use , and even a small towel to wipe the dew off the outdoor furniture. They also have row boats and kayaks to enjoy the calmness of the cove. The outdoor firepitt was equally amazing! If you are trying to find a beautiful place which focuses on peace and tranquility sprinkled with romance this is it!

Stayed 7/8 & 7/9 in Infatuation cottage. First, Emily the front desk associate was so kind, informative (love her Georgia accent :) ) Our cottage was so cute & charming. When I walked in I couldn't wait to spend 2 nights there. It was like being on our honeymoon again. The extra touches were very nice (breakfast dropped off 8AM each morning hung outside door--warm breakfast egg/sausage bites, fresh fruit/juice. Afternoon snack of nutella bar. Next day muffin, fresh fruit/juice. Upon checkout a "ride home package" with local artist painting, nuts/dried fruit. The deck by the cove was very nice to sit on and watch the ducks/geese & tide. Very quiet even though one side of cottage is by a road. Nice adirondack chairs outside to sit in & listen to the many birds chirping away. We felt the cottage was perfect size for the 2 of us. Great size fridge, microwave, 2 burner stove, dishwasher, coffee maker/tea bags, air conditioner (worked great for the humid weather we had), ceiling fan, fully stocked cabinets/drawers. Comfortable sofa/chairs to watch TV. Table for playing games. Outside firepit, bikes, cornhole. 15 to 20 minute walk to dock square. Plenty of beaches to drive to if wanted (parking not cheap though). Allison's restaurant has great food/service (the fig/brie sandwich & salmon sandwich very good). My husband & I cannot wait to book this cottage again for next year. It is just what we needed to get away.

Karen the property manager greeted us with enthusiasm and cheer. She provided a tour of the property, amenities and suggestions for activities and dining in Kennebunkport. The grounds are beautiful and quaint. The cabins are small but a perfect size for a couple. They are designed with coastal flair and look exactly like the online photos. The property is on the water, has water activities, quaint outdoor seating areas. They serve a warm nice breakfast in the morning and fresh baked cookies in the afternoon. You will love it!

Kennebunkport, Maine is a favorite getaway destination. We stay at Cottages at Cabot Cove and make sure we always stay in cottage #14, ANCHOR DOWN. You will know ANCHOR DOWN Cottage was recently renovated with its modern, yet charming, nautical décor. Furnishings are new with colors in crisp, clean and relaxing seaside blues and whites. A few other comforts are the air conditioning, Smart TV and fast WiFi. Tote bags and umbrellas are there to use. ANCHOR DOWN is quiet and peaceful and has dark shades making it easy for sleeping in. The bed and linens are top quality. Lots of storage to unpack suitcases. Bathroom has vanity storage and modern tiled shower. The new couch is comfy and can be pulled out to a bed for a 3rd guest. The cute eating nook is perfect to enjoy the yummy breakfast delivered and left at your door each morning. Kitchen is equipped with everything needed to fix a meal. After a day of walking the town, it’s so relaxing to pour a glass of wine, sit in the Adirondack chairs and enjoy the private deck and pretty garden. Oh, and they also leave an afternoon treat at your door!
