Hotel Rossis

We stayed for 3 weeks in September and felt it was perfectly situated and the best value. There were some higher rated hotels close by but definitely not as well situated and as good value for money. We were in one of the rooms over the courtyard and next to the road, but huge bushes in front so road not visible. It was private and good for afternoon sun. Room modern and refurbished, full size fridge, with freezer area so could make ice for drinks. Also free safe and aircon which was appreciated. Kettle provided. Most hotels we have stayed at with this star rating have charged for one or other of these facilities. Amazing views at breakfast overlooking the beach, breakfast adequate always some choice. We loved the ice cream, lots of variety. Plenty choice of drinks from bar and lunch/ snack menu good too. So many restaurants nearby, we tried top 15 on TripAdvisor, some of them a few times once we had favourites. Lots of bars along the beach and the road behind the sea front, worth exploring. Also a bakery and couple of supermarkets as well as several places to hire bikes/cars. Sea was clean, usually clear and warm, didn’t bother us that had no pool, but oasis bar just metres away has free pool to use. Staff very friendly, family run hotel

What a beautiful place - the family are incredibly hospitable and warm. The service is great, hotel is spotless but I'm not surprised as the cleaners are very dilligent (and polite). We enjoyed every second of our holiday - Messonghi itself is peaceful, the restaurants are superb and the local people a joy to interact with. Big shout out to the staff at Kostas Taverna for helping me with my Greek pronunciation when I asked for some advice :) We are booking again for May, wouldn't stay anywhere else in Messonghi. We stayed in the appartments. Rooms was simple with all you need Bed extra.large and comfortable Small hob for cooking if you need Shower small but clean.Plenty of hot water. Breakfast lovely with all WE.needed seamed to be a good selection for different tastes. Bread delicious The family make this hotel a real stand out.feature. Alexis busying looking after every need and the charming Dimitri. Parents are just delightful The hotel is on the shingle beach just 4m until your in the Ionian Sea. Sun beds at your choice. This was a truely relaxing holiday and I no doubt we will be back. Thanks to all

Absolutely love Hotel Rossis and the village of Messonghi. The hotel is a family run business, the family and all of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful nothing if ever to much trouble, we have holidayed there for the past two years and now know all of the family and staff. Food is good with plenty of choice and the bar stays open late. Access to the beach is is brilliant literally a few steps from the back door, sun loungers are plenty and bar staff are more than happy to bring your drinks right down to the waters edge. The local area is quite with very little commercialisation apart from boat trips which are available a short distance away at the mouth of the river. What more can I say, definitely going back next year so a big thank you to the cast,:- Maria, Takis, Versilace, Demitri, Alex and all the staff.

Fabulous holiday in Messonghi, stayed at Rossis, right on the beach...couldn't get closer. Staff so friendly and make you feel so welcome. Messonghi is small but still enough great restaurants within a 10 minute stroll. Looking forward to coming back.

We had the most fantastic stay at this lovely family hotel in Messonghi. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the beach is literally just outside the door. Breakfast was really good with a wide selection of both hot and cold from the buffet. We had lunch some days in the café bar and the selection of local food was great, everything was very good but special shout out for the greek salad! We had two rooms close to each other, they are not huge but very comfortable and the air conditioning was great. The service all round was excellent and the location was right in the middle of everything with local bars and restaurants just a short stroll away. Messonghi is a quiet enough place so if you are looking for a relaxing break you can't do better than here. We will definitely return.
