Likithos Hotel

The staff is nice, the garden is pleasant, the hotel can be said to be good value for money, BUT We paid for half board, but there was no drink with the dinner, in fact, the waiter stood over us at the beginning of the meal and waited impatiently for the drink order. Ordering is almost mandatory. In connection with my work, I travel several times a year and stay in 3-4 star hotels with half board, but I have never experienced this anywhere. It's not that I can't pay the occasional 5-10 euros, but I think it's ridiculous.

Beautiful place, with very friendly staff and lovely pools and outdoor areas. The food served at Greek night was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed that the place is located at a peaceful area with just a short walk to the beach. Very clean. Spacious rooms.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Spacious room, good bed. Kitchen in the room and possibility to cook our own breakfast and dinner. Had our own balcony. cleaning every day. We always had warm water in the shower. Near to the beach, markets and restaurants. Peaceful location. Friendly staff. Everything worked. I would go again.

The hotel is placed on the edge of Agios Georgios village just next to olive orchard, away from night clubs and tourist center. Each room has its own entrance. It has a family atmosphere - you will know each person of hotel staff. The room was exactly, what I expected from a 3 star hotel - clean, quite large, but not really new and very much comfortable, but just good enough to spend a relaxing holiday. The bathroom would already need a renovation. I really appreciated a fridge in the room. AC costs 40 EUR per 1 week. Very helpful was a double door to balcony - 1 with a net against insects. Wi-fi was free, but not always stable - I used rather mobile phone connection. Food for breakfast and dinner was above my expectations - especially for dinner there were always several tasty meals, changing each evening. You can have a dinner till 9.30 p.m. - once we came at 9.15 and still there was a full pan of meat and we were alone on the terrace of the restaurant, which was actually very nice with a good view to sunset. Maybe there could be more fruits - availabe was only watermelon, but always enough. Surrounding of the hotel is not very nice - typical greece village. A supermarket is 5 minutes by walk, very nice long sandy beach about 10 minutes - after additional 5 minutes walk along the beach you can find a place, where you are alone. The beach is clean, no seaweeds. Water is crystal clean, not very deep - after 20-30 meters you can still stand, suitable for children. We did not spend much time by the pool, but there were always free beds. Overall perfect holiday with small budget. I recommend to visit the village above - Argirades, walk through its narrow streets to a small church Agios Ioannis with beautiful view to both east and west coast.

The rooms were big and great for families, but need some upgrading. The cleaning were poor. I wish there was some information in the room about the hotel and how to get around the “town”. Pool area was good, but as other hotels the sun beds were “booked” from 7 in the morning, and some did not even use their beds.

Poor cleaning, rooms where the interior was broken. The staff would not recommend anywhere else eat. Do not come here if you want to experience corfu. Poor bus commute between agios and other towns. The “beach” 600m from the hotel is dirty. The pictures in the ad are not at all the same when you get here. Pools have broken filters around.

We (me and my girlfriend) booked the hotel for seven nights. Although we arrived very late (about 3 a.m.) and the hotel is pretty small, the receptionist was there awaiting our arrival with a warm welcome. After our late check-in we got to see our cozy room. The room contained few handy wardrobes and even medium fridge, which seemed unnecessary at first, but after few days in a hot weather it would become very fine place to store our drinks for evenings and for our upcoming trips (the hotel sold bottles of water for low price). Overall the room was clean with good beds. The outside of the hotel was marvelous. The hotel contained very nice pool where you can lay whole day and relax. The food was great as well. Both breakfast and dinner were form of buffet. Altough the food served for breakfast wasn't changed that much, it contained a lot of tasty stuff. After your hot sunny day you could look forward to your dinner which offered you a new meals every day. To make your dinner even better, you can order a local wine, which is served to you by very kind personnel.

The hotel's pool area was really good with small children. The barbecue evening was really good. The bad thing is there is mold in the hotel. It is in the restaurant's chairs and rooms. In our room, there was clear mold damage on the ceiling, which was only fixed by painting over it. The humidity in the rooms is so high that in the morning the windows are damp unless you use the air conditioning. There are a lot of bugs, spiders, etc. outside the rooms. If a food crumb accidentally falls on the floor inside, the ants will quickly come to the scene. The breakfast was ok, the warm food was not warm once during the week. You should be careful if you eat toast. We immediately noticed at the first breakfast that the other toasts were moldy and when we pointed this out to the owner, he didn't say anything and turned away. If you have half board, you can choose one of the three pre-planned dishes at dinner. There is a small starter salad table. Food and drinks are not offered, but you have to pay for them. Only watermelon for dessert. The children's play area in the yard is miserable. The swings and playground equipment are old and the place is not comfortable at all. The area could be limited. Of the employees, the blond-haired woman at breakfast, the older woman at the reception and the younger woman in the evenings (who also works at the Evergreen cafe nearby) and the man at the bar at dinner were really happy and nice! Otherwise, the other employees and the owner were really in a bad mood.

From my very first contact with this hotel I had a very good feeling… and my feeling turned out to be right! We were collected at the airport arranged by Likithos Village and taken to a calm oasis right outside the Village and the Sea. Everybody was SO kind and helpful when we arrived Despite the late hour the restaurant was open- we had our first of many delicious meals there! Our two bedroom flat was in perfect condition and kept so for two weeks to the great cleaning crew. Lovley Ladies Thank You! Nice terrace with a pretty view. Big bathroom and kitchen with all utensils you need. Safe and A/C available for small cost. Breakfast Buffet was very good. I NEVER eat scrambled eggs in hotels but the were so delicious here that I had them everyday! Nice pool area, great luncheon under green leaves and very good dinners in the top floor Taverna. We had half board and I can really recommend that. The Staff at Likithos deserves more than five stars! Angelica was a dream, always in a good mood and very helpful, Vassilis so nice, Marianne in the kitchen and her son a very good waiter. All the restaurant staff very nice. The beautiful gardens and pools were taken care of Mr Alecko and last but not least the wonderful Mr Konstantino who took care in the Reception.. and more! My cousin and I loved this hotel and can really reccomend it. We Will Be Back Dear Friends
