Great location in Key Largo, no road noise, nice peaceful view. Large room, bathroom especially is dated. Pool is very nice. Breakfast is all fast food rubbish, nothing cooked or fresh, but there are two restuarants just a couple of minutes walk away so not really a problem Generally satisfied for the price.

Marina Del Mar is awesome, they have everything you need right there, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Love the restaurants. Being able to go to different pools the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our questions were answered. We were able to maneuver around the area easily.

Older hotel, but still ok. Had some retro charm. Room could use some updates. Way too much light came through the window blinds. Needed room darkening drapes. Wonderful restaurant next door. Handy complimentary breakfast. Employees were helpful.

Property location was nice. Old area with not a whole lot to do on land but lot of marine sports available.

All things considered, this was a very underwhelming experience. Do not let the name "Resort" fool you. This is an ordinary hotel, with a pool, a nice location by the marina, but with no special features at all. The worst thing was the price paid - $350 a night for the experiences listed below is WAY TOO MUCH! It would be worth $150 in my view. 1) The room is small. Very small. Two small (queen?) beds, that is it. It is also old, with outdated windows, tub, shower, broken blinds, everything. It needs a remodel, pronto. The blinds are cheap Home Depot things, and the room gets really bright really early so you can't really sleep in at all if you want to. 2) The WiFi did not work at all in our 3 nights there. When I called the first time, they said it was the AT&T outage that day. The next time I called, the lady told me that their infrastructure (routers, modems) is too old and that it doesn't work well, they are supposedly replacing it... I could do no work at all, had to use my T-Mobile hotspot to accomplish anything. 3) The breakfast is a little better than at any Hampton Inn - meaning, not great at all... The same yogurt/pre-packaged sandwiches/cereal combination, but without the hot DIY pancakes, or fresh fruit. NOT AT ALL a "resort" breakfast. 4) The second night, my mattress collapsed and had to be replaced - which they did, quickly. 5) Parking - you do not have a spot. You park wherever you can find a spot, and compete with people parking for the restaurant.

The hotel is adequate but in need a full refurbishment. It’s very tired and a refurb would make the place great I’m sure. As it stands we wouldn’t stay again. The housekeeping service is hit and miss zones days you get fresh towels some days you don’t, never had the carpet cleaned in all the time we stayed (10 days) and in fact never saw a carpet cleaner on any of the housekeeping carts either, some days you got coffee replaced somedays you didn’t. We never got replacement plastic cups or sweeteners/sugar and the internet is very hot and miss but this according to reception is because when they are fully booked it’s slow or not possible to get in because it can’t cope!. There isn’t enough parking when it’s full either and although you have to display a permit many cars don’t have them displayed. Good location and central for the upper Keys but in need of some love like the receptionist said they are cheaper than some hotels and you get what you pay for! Receptions words not mine.

Friendly staff, rooms are pretty clean…it’s an old property and could use updating. Beds were comfortable.
