Location: Well-located when you come by car and mostly go to the beach early and occasionally walk into town. Room: I had a single which was big enough and had sufficient shelf room for storing stuff for a week. Bonus was a fridge (empty and really cold for a hotel fridge). Windows did open. Major dislike: Extremely loud, even for a hotel (I stay around 200 nights/year in hotels): the door closed like gunshots, several (all?) doors around me did that. Not possible to sleep and even disturbing during the day. In the end I spend the evening and night with ear plugs. Other dislikes: No lift (4 stories).

Hotel molto gradevole a pochi km dal porto croceristico. Senza ascensore, motivo per il quel tolgo una stella. Camere ampie. Pulito. Personale gentile. Servizio parcheggio auto per i croceristi. Colazione nella norma.

Vi havde bestilt dobbeltværelse, og blev opgraderet til studio. Godt udvalg på morgenbordet, som varierede lidt fra dag til dag.
Gratis parkering.
Cykelafstand til centrum.

Netter Service am Empfang, sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten, der Weg zur Uni ist zu Fuß möglich. Mit dem Auto ist das Hotel über die Bundesstraße super zu erreichen. Für Geschäftliches oder Wochenendaufenthalte empfehlenswert. Einen Urlaub würde ich dort nicht verbringen wollen.

Dieses Hotel haben wir als Start- und Zielpunkt für unsere mehrtägige Radtour am Nord-Ostsee-Kanal entlang ausgesucht. Das Hotel liegt für diese Radtour recht günstig. Das Hotel verfügt zudem über einen abschließbaren und ausreichend großen Fahrradraum, so dass die Fahrräder sicher untergebracht werden konnten. Der Service sowohl beim Empfang, als auch beim Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet, stets sehr sehr freundlich. Auch der Hausmeister ist top, konnte uns mit einem kurzfristig benötigten Werkzeug super weiterhelfen. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und - wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Garten - richtig schön ruhig. Am Abend kann man im lauschigen Garten sitzen und die kleine Bar hat ein kleines aber sehr gutes Angebot an Getränken. Die beiden Ausflüge von hier am Anfangs- und am Endtag sind von hier aus ebenfalls sehr gut zu machen, da der richtige Bus sowohl zum Aussichtspunkt der Schleuse Kiel Südufer, als auch zur Fähre zum Nordufer ganz in der Nähe abfährt und hier auch wieder ankommt. Insgesamt können wir das Hotel sehr gut empfehlen.
