I stayed at the Premier Rus for my first two nights in Kiev. It was a very basic, utilitarian hotel, but comfortable with all amenities. It felt quiet and safe, and the hotel lobby was quiet beautiful, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. My room was on the 13th floor (lucky!) and overlooked a stadium. I had never been to Kiev before, and chose the hotel for it reviews, price, and where it appeared on a map of Kiev. The hotel is in a neighborhood with lots to do, and I had a fun time exploring the area, but in hindsight, for my tourism purposes, a hotel around the Victory Square area would have made more sense. Other than that, I thought this hotel was excellent, and i would recommend it for a value-conscious traveller looking for a comfortable base to stay in a vibrant part of Kiev, if being right at Victory Square isnt a necessity!
