I think that they need to look up the definition of Luxury. It’s not a terrible place but certainly not luxurious. But there were some design oddities. Start with bathrooms. There was a large tinted window with no curtains in the front bathroom overlooking the driveway. But tinting only works in the day. It works in reverse at night. The powder room downstairs had no towel rack/towel nor toilet paper holder. The toilet paper was on the window sill and nothing to dry hands after washing. The shower had a big cracked tile and there was no shower curtain. There was no hairdryer even though we were told one was mounted on the wall. Kitchen wise there were also oddities. There was a stove but no pots, pans, cooking spoons or egg lifters. The plates provided were too large to fit into the micro sized microwave. There was only one teacup. No dish soap or sponge was provided to wash the utensils nor was there any dish cloth. Kitchen window was cracked. Security wise, some of the window and sliding door lock didn’t work and that is a large security issue. The safe keypad was not working so had to use the key provided. A pain in the neck to have to carry the key around. Hot water was limited so early morning sometimes was none. Couch was not comfortable. Unbelievably, the worst part was that they were doing construction at 1-4 AM!! There had a team of men hauling buckets on their shoulders up the driveway, talking at the top of their voices with lots of scraping and knocking. A good point was the complimentary breakfast was excellent with choice of fruits, breads, pastries, several local dishes, eggs etc. Restaurant on site was convenient and food was ok for the most part and good prices. However they seem to have a lot of functions so service was slow at times. Price of the room was very reasonable, so could be my expectations were too high.
