We had a nice 2 night Valentines break. Quick check in. Room was medium sized clean & comfortable. Breakfast was served to order & was very tasty. We had evening meals in the golf club both nights which was very tasty & service was good, this was a short 2 minute walk from the castle.

I can’t recommend Kilkea castle enough. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay a memorable one. Five stars just isn’t enough. The grounds were pristine, the food delicious and we have never experienced customer service like this. If you are ever in the area please put Kilkea Castle on your must-do list.

Stayed in the coach house. Lovely retreat. Spa trea**ent was excellent. The sofa in the room was very tired and unclean, worthy of replacement. Overall a nice stay.

The stay here was really magical. Dinner. The bar and breakfast were all great. The grounds are beautiful. The staff was really nice and helpful The rooms however could have been cleaner tbh. The two sleep sofas were so stained they just needed to be thrown away. Even the carpet needed a good cleaning. Overall I really did love it

The staff made everything special. They answered all our questions and provided the best and friendliest service. We stayed in one of the lodge rooms. It was spacious and comfortable.

Overall the experience was really nice. The property was pretty & nice to walk around. The service was nice. Our room was on the small side but clean (we did have a problem with a broken shower head). The hotel is very secluded so I wouldn’t recommend if you plan to go out and explore any surrounding places.

Amazing place to stay with wonderfully kept gardens. The bar in the castle had such a great historic feel. And the breakfast was a real treat in the dining room in the Castle.

All the staff were pleasant and helpful. The bartender was so kind and made us feel like friends. Food was very good. Beautiful landscaping.
