BIG4 Plantation Caravan Park

The caravan park is old and sed needs some work but the new owners are trying to sort things out Lots of shade.. Ablutions blocks were spotless.. The owner is the friendliest nicest person you will ever meet. Quiet. Well priced Has a pool.

Please be aware this place takes full payment upfront for your stay and then does not give refunds at all no matter how far in advance you cancel your booking. I made a one night booking for September 2024 and have asked to cancel my booking today (April 2024) as we can no longer travel during the dates we booked. We’ve been told they do not provide refunds at all. Do not book this place early or only book if you are willing to loose your money as life’s circumstances can change unexpectedly.

Older park and amenities, but great rates and super friendly staff. Michael and Sonya were really lovely and we had many chats at the pool and campers kitchen during our stay. The grounds look great and we will certainly stay here again. The park isn’t far from the space museum (worth a visit) and is around 5ks or so out of town near the main highway turnoff.

The manager booked us into the big house which was a nice surprise we arrived quite late but they very very friendly and happy to accommodate us. The bed in the house was the most comfortable one we have ever stayed in we loved it was a great stay. Easy access great location from the hwy.

We haven’t been to Carnarvon for awhile but were welcomed to Plantation Caravan Park with a big smile and friendly greeting. A caravan site which was level and plenty of room. Amenities clean and tidy.

Always stay here, whether for a holiday or as part of a longer journey. The park offers ample shade and grassed areas, neat and tidy amenities and fantastic owners who always provide a lovely welcome and ensure a great stay. Set out of town the park provides slabs for caravans and grassed sites for campers. Highly recommend staying here. Tell ‘em the Webbys sent you.

The van park was roomy and plenty of space for large vans. The owners were accommodating by leaving a note about whereabouts of our site and keys etc as we arrived later in the afternoon. Amenities were clean and functional. Shade for many sites. Close to service station and convenience groceries.

We stayed in a powered site. Ablutions block immaculate. Had a double concrete site which was great. Plenty of room. Kutut really helpful and friendly- always with a smile and a wave. Lovely spot to stay.

A little way out of town, this park is clean and well set up. We stayed in a cabin, which was clean and had everything needed for our two-night stay. Good laundry facilities, which are also clean. Recommend!
