the place is GREAT! The manager is so friendly and helpful. Our room was so lovely and spacious. The breakfast was superb. The pool looked great too but it was cold so we didn't get a chance to go in. The manager helped us with recommendations which was super helpful. There's free parking and great security.

What an utter disappoin**ent! Such a beautiful location and such terrible management. We booked and paid in advance for a 50 m2 suite with a king size bed and lagoon views via booking com the day before and were so looking forward to our stay. - At arrival yesterday, the manager told us that our room had magically been downgraded to a small single bedroom with a queen size bed . He said that there must have been an advertisement mistake… As it was already late afternoon when we came back from golf and we were exhausted listening to his excuses we reluctantly accepted our fate in order not to lose more valuable holiday time, The noise from next door during the night on the shared terrace, the foul odor from stale water in the bathroom , no internet etc. did not directly add to our enjoyment. - The day manager this morning excused the “hot” breakfast being cold breakfast and wanted to put us in touch with the American owner of the venue. He let us wait for twenty minutes before we than left this sad place.. . It all comes from the top, as they say, no wonder..

Nice hotel, friendly staff. Rooms are comfortable. It’s in at the top of the hill overlooking Knysna and not walkable.
Not much in Knysa except the waterfront. It’s an overprice place for food and not much to see. The hotel was nice but I would stay in Plettenberg Bay instead.

A great hotel! Rooms were spacious and clean. The pool area was gorgeous with the most spectacular view! A bit far from town but they do offer a shuttle. Because the hotel was so beautiful, we decided to eat in the restaurant there instead of the town and was so glad that we did! The service was amazing and the food delicious! A big thank you to Elrico who went above and beyond to make our stay most memorable!

The place and the view is amazing. 😊😊. Staff was super friendly. From our arrival, Nico was so welcoming and friendly , the housekeeping ladies were so so so sweet, rooms vert neat and classy. Thank you to Ntombi for giving us a tour around the restaurant and the outside area and also being the best waitress 👏👏. The food was superb... We are definitely coming back again

Definitely a boutique hotel, lovely furnishings . big comfortable room. Excellent breakfast nice friendly staff. stunning location worth staying more than one night . We stayed 5 . Slight problem with the Wi-Fi, but was fixed very fast. Assistant manager Enrico & reservation manager Jennifer were very help full and attentive , as were the dining room staff

Lovely place with excellent view over Knysna - staff very efficient and courteous. Little bit disappointed with breakfast - convoluted; coffee or juice both not both and one coffee - pay extra to refill. No replenishing of water in the room - slight feeling of money pinching.

Wow! Where do I begin... from doing the reservation, check in, the most beautiful spacious room! The very friendly staff, Lee the chef... what a hidden gem now called The Issaquena Heights. 5star on everything!
