Forte Kochi

The property has a beautiful ambiance with great service. It was a lovely stay. Every corner is aesthetically pleasing with easy access to the beautiful streets of Fort Kochi. I would highly recommend staying here. Special mention for Krishnadas, Shilpa, and Jayachandran who were professional and welcoming.

We loved this hotel. Old and historic building with a fantastic spa (Shilpa is amazing) and terrific food (the grilled prawns were unbelievable). Breakfast was great with lots of variety. Some staff are a little inexperienced but it didn’t matter, they are all so friendly and helpful. Pool area is really nice and the free afternoon chai and snacks was a lovely bonus. Easy walking to the Chinese fishing nets. Definitely recommended.

Upon arrival at Forte Kochi, we were greeted by smiling faces and provided excellent customer service! The beautiful building has been lovingly cared for and our room was large and provided space for us to relax after a busy day of walking the city. Food in the restaurant was excellent. Swimming in the pool after a busy day was very refreshing and rejuvenating.

Absolutely wonderful stay for 3 days. We visited with my 20 year old son. We all enjoyed the true kerala seafood experience the first day, Ayurveda massages at the spa in the hotel. Shilpa and Jeyachandran gave excellent Ayurvedic treatments. The entire staff were affectionate and helpful at all times, felt like an extended family almost. Right from start, before we even arrived Krishnadas reached out, had the room ready welcomed us with welcome drinks as soon as we got off the car and everything was smooth sailing from then. Had the best seafood experience at the catch of Kochi, under the starlit skies by the pool. Krishnandas arranged for the Kathakali show the next day and a beautiful private tour of the island. Akash in the restaurant made sure we were well taken care of and even went out of the way to check on my son who was unwell one of the days. Just an amazing 3 days in beautiful Kochi, a home away from home. We had a wonderful house boat experience organized by carnival tours in allepey for half a day and that tour driver and guide even gave us a drive through kumbalangi on our way back. Forte Kochi has become hands down one of my all time top stay experiences in India. From the check-in welcome to in-room facilities, the hotel lived up to its hype every single bit. We had a 1 night stay at the property and every moment we spent at the property was delightful. You're welcomed so warmly by the well-trained and friendly staff in the traditional way and then someone guides you through all the details of your booking and tells you more about the hotel. The rooms are fantastically done. Very well-maintained and beautifully decorated. There’s a seamless blend of the old with the new. You get the essence of living in a heritage building yet you get all the modern amenities you could ever think about, including the likes of mini freezer, iron, electronic safe, etc. Pool was clean. Loved the fact that they provided sunbeds & towels too. Every single aspect has been thoughtfully done so that all your needs are catered to. Food deserves a special mention too. The breakfast buffet was quite well stocked. From South Indian options to different varieties of breads, you will be spoilt for choices. Also loved the seafood platter we had for lunch and the pasta for dinner.  You can have candlelight dinner by the side of the pool while enjoying a traditional Kuchipudi performance. We also attended their morning heritage walk around the Fort Kochi neighbourhood. Our storyteller was very well informed and made the walk quite engaging. It was wonderful to dive deeper into the region's rich heritage and culture. The hospitality here really stayed with me. Definitely coming back in the future with my family to stay longer.

A fabulous hotel a walk away from the Chinese Fishing nets. We were greeted at the door by the reception staff and from that moment inwards we could not fault their service. Every member of staff we interacted with was well groomed and so polite and helpful. The food in the restaurant for breakfast spoiled us there was everything you could think of and the chef always came to ask of everything was ok after each meal. He even organised for me to observe Dosa being made in the kitchen- nothing was too much trouble. we took an evening by the pool and Sony our waitress was very attentive and the food faultless. You should take a massage from the lovely masseur whose name starts with an S ( sorry we can’t remember) she has eight years experience and we took the recuperation massage and slept like babies afterwards. This hotel has set the bar high for the rest of the Hotels we will visit in Kerala.
