The service was the poorest we've ever experienced in India. Staff F in restaurant totally disinterested. The hotel had no sun loungers by the pool as depicted in their advertising. Left after one night having paid for two nights up front at reception. They refused to reimburse the night not used ! First hotel in India that we were asked to pay up front..... You now know why. Many of the other guests were bitterly complaining about the shocking service and attitude of the staff.

Worst unkempt, faded walls, fungus, dust and cobwebs in the bedroom, got carried away by Welcome group ITC name, a bad decision of ITC to take this hotel on management contract, I had booked on Agoda, seeing the pictures and falling into the ITC brand trap, I paid in full advance, hope Agoda, returns my money, I checked out with in 10 mts of checking in, moved into The Trident Kochi at same rate, what a relief

The hotel is a 150-year-old former British bank; someone who has an appreciation for Colonial buildings will absolutely love the experience. Maintaining such a property is not an easy experience, but the team has done an excellent job. The entire property has a combination of blue, white, and black, which is such a calming combination. 1. Rooms/lobby : comfortable beds, clean linens, and a clean and bright restroom. The color combination of blue, white, and black has been maintained in the rooms as well, with a lot of attention to detail in making the room look absolutely stunning and photographic. 2. Food: The catering is handled by Cafe Noir, a popular restaurant chain; the menu is French continental; if you are looking for traditional local cuisine, this is not the place. It is more suited to a western audience; the breakfast has limited options, but the quality of food makes up for it here; the pancakes, croissant sandwich, and date almond shake were my favorites. Excellent work by Joseph, Immanuel, and Shyam here; they've gone to the extent of customizing your food as per preference. 3. Easy access to tourist locations: you'll have to take a ferry to reach the island; there is some construction work towards the hotel; but it is not difficult to reach by car or auto; the location is between Mattachery and Vasco da Gama Square. Bonus tip: nearby small town village Kunnapuram can fetch all your basic daily needs. 4. Staff service: This is clearly the strength of the hotel, apart from the architecture. Mr.Umesh Panda, the main person here, ***** with Jude and Younis, ensured our every need to make this stay comfortable was met. The staff speaks multiple languages so communication was not a problem. Very well-behaved and professional Bonus tips : the location has a swimming pool on the terrace, which will be a very nice experience. Also, my wife and I spent our early mornings sipping tea and soaking in the beauty of Kochi Harbour from the roof. This is a must-stay place if you are looking to relax for a couple of days in western architecture.

My recent stay at WelcomeHeritage Azora Hotel in Fort Kochi was simply wonderful. The rooms are beautifully decorated in a soothing blue and white color combination, creating a tranquil ambiance that's perfect for relaxation. The hotel's location near Marine Drive and its proximity to all the main attractions in Fort Kochi made it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. Whether it was a leisurely stroll ***** the promenade or a visit to nearby historic sites, everything was within easy reach. The combination of the elegant room decor and the hotel's strategic location made my stay truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend WelcomeHeritage Azora Hotel to anyone visiting Fort Kochi for a delightful and comfortable experience.

Dinuj and his team was in touch, with all the information and help, as soon as my sister and I had confirmed our reservations. Umesh then took over and with the same professionalism ensured we had a great stay. The decor is chic with black and white checkered flooring everywhere. No carpets so no musty smells. The beds are very comfortable and the linen is of a high quality. The rooms are well appointed. The staff are smiling and ever ready to help which was a BIG change from attitudes elsewhere in Fort Kochi! As we were there for the Biennale, the Azora was most conveniently located: walking distance from most venues. We will go back again!
