It’s a great hotel with excellent service. For the first time, we truly felt at home. The place is very clean, with incredibly nice staff and a professional, passionate chef. They are so communicative and helpful.
They even surprised my friends with a birthday cake for their birthday, decorating the setup with flowers, rose petals, and candles. It was so kind and thoughtful of them! We were deeply touched, and I was completely speechless. Thank you!

This boutique hotel has to be one of the best hotels we have stayed in during our month in India. From the offset the communication regarding our booking was excellent. Sanitha and her team are outstanding. We were a family of 2 adults and 4+6 year old. The room was excellent and with everything we needed. We really felt at home at this hotel. All the staff are so welcoming and happy to help. Our kids loved to pool. After long days sightseeing we would end up in the pool area which was so peaceful. We also booked our tours though the hotel. Sanitha explained everything clearly and we booked a backwaters tour. The location of this hotel is perfect. A short walk to Princess Street and vasco de gama Square or on 30 rupees in a tuk tuk. It is even not to far from Jew town and Mattancherry Palace. We couldn't have found a better location. What makes this hotel stand out from the rest is the food. It was the best food we have tasted in our whole time in India. All the food was fresh and prepared to the highest standard. As we were traveling with kids the chef was more than accommodating to make mild dishes or even plain dishes for the kids. The chef is outstanding. The seafood dishes we had were mouthwatering. I eat lobster, prawns, pomfret, red snapper. Each were prepared to our taste. Nothing was too spicy but delicious. We will definitely be returning to this hotel. We wish to thank you for all the service you gave us and for the wonderful flowers and cake on our wedding anniversary.

very beautiful boutique hotel in an old colonial building at walking distance to all the atractions of Fort Kochi.Good internet and fantastic Indian breakfasts(every day different) and dinners prepared by the very inventive chef and his team!And,above all,the great services and professionalism of the front desk(thans a lot again,Sanitha,Christina and all others) who know how to make you feel like family.

Tissa's Inn is a lovely, beautiful hotel with very welcoming and friendly staff. Sanitha and her team were always happy to answer questions and help out where they could, and in doing so made me feel at home. Sanitha also emailed me a day before I arrived checking I was all set and if I needed any help getting to the hotel. It was a really nice touch, so thank you Sanitha if you read this! :) The hotel has a lovely pool on the roof, and an area where they serve dinner outside in the evenings. The food and breakfast was very delicious. Next door to the hotel are a few handy shops, and it is a short 5 min walk into the heart of the historic Fort Kochi area with it's lovely shops and restaurants. I also walked from the Ernakulam ferry most days, which was also a short walk (or an evening shorter tuktuk ride!). Would definitely recommend to others and stay again if I ever am in this part of the world again.

Lovely hotel, run mainly by English speaking women who are friendly, lively and helpful. Little extras added include extra toiletries, more plug sockets than usual, and of course a pool and pool towels. Good breakfast, : excellent masala omelettes in particular. The location is good, within walking distance of the Princes Street area.

Excellent stay. Good food. This is an old house turned into a Motel. The place is extremely well maintained, decorated with antique furniture, and has a very friendly staff. This place is well suited for anyone looking for a calm and quiet stay that is close to fort kochi. Added to that, they have a few books to read in the common area. A pool at the roof top and an in-house restaurant which serves very good food. It should be mentioned that whatever food they served during our stay was excellent and even common choices like chapati made a memorable mark for its quality and taste.

This was mine and my partners first time to India. As nervous as we both were to find a good accommodation with kind hosts to help us through our trip, walking through the doors of Tissa’s Inn put us immediately at ease. From the immaculate boutique hotel and rooms, the cleanliness, the delicious food, and amenities we genuinely could not have asked for a better place to stay in Fort Kochi. Beyond all of these attributes, Sanitha and her crew were so incredible to us. All the staff were so warm and welcoming and helped us with anything we needed throughout the duration of our stay. They even went as far as to get my partner a cake for his birthday while we were there and sing him happy birthday. The sweetest staff and the most pristine hotel and great location- 10/10, 10/10, 10/10. Highly recommend this is where you stay if you’re in fort Kochi. Thank you Tissa’s Inn and staff for making our trip so amazing. We can’t wait to be back. Best, Bri & Logan
