Hotel Jc Grand

We booked 4 deluxe rooms in jg grand. But when we landed in kodaikanal we were given rooms in an alternate hotel jc woodville manor where the rooms were much smaller when compared to jc grand. When we asked about it, they said rooms were full and we had no other option to stay in that alternate hotel which had a poor quality. We had issues with hot water and we did not get additional comfort or quilt.

We didn't stay there. Very bad surrounding. No parking space for vehicle. We lost our money. We choose two days in another excellent hotel. Our first time experience in life, like this. How can we know the style of hotel until we reach there. Cancellation only upto 25 april. This is not good. Atleast 50 %of booking amount must refund. Not take booking like this hotels. We lost trust in make my trip

1. No intercoms to communicate reception. 2. No lift 3. Mostly no hot water available. 4. Poor room service, no water jugs filled, no help for bags.

Had a pleasant experience with jc grand. The hotel is located opposite to the bus stand and easily identifiable. Our check-in was at 12 pm and we went before 9 am. They helped us with a room to refresh and we kept our bags in the reception later to enjoy sight seeing. We got back around 4 pm and got into our room. Checkout was at 10 am the next day and they again took care of our bags at reception so that we can enjoy ourselves. We got back around 5. 30 pm and got a room to refresh. We then got back to our return bus. Rooms were neat and clean. There are plenty of places nearby to enjoy food. Lake, bryant park, croaker's walk and shopping area are at walkable distance from here. The hotel also has ro water available at 1st floor all the time. The receptionists were very helpful and supportive with the requests. They mentioned that they can give rooms to refresh if available and luckily we got them whenever we asked for it. Would definitely recommend to others.

Location is nice, hot water available, neat rooms and bathroom, no wifi, no kettle and no space to hang dresses or almira provided

The stay was nice and a good one. Nearest to the bus stand and easily accessible. Didn't provide blankets.

We were told that we will be provided early checking at 3 am. After reaching the location we had to call the hotel at least 15 times before the call was answered and it was written 24 hour front desk. When we entered the hotel it was filled with smell of liquor. There was an argument that early check in will be provided on a charging basis. We still agreed as we had travel-led 7 hrs. The room provided 217 was leaking and one side of the bed was wet. When we had gone to switch off the lights, one side of the wall where there was a switch, i felt a shock as the walls were wet. We had to sleep in the filthy room with smell of wet walls. We had to take all our luggage to the 2nd floor without lift. On the final day of check out we had to argue on these basis and they agreed not to charge for the early check in. I would not recommend this hotel unless it is the last option.
