Beluga Boutique Hotel

This place is a gem, i did nothing all week and loved every minute. just lazing in the pool and the food is truly world class.not often you find a place run like this place.i beet in Thailand 8 times this place wins over all the othere i stayed at over the years.

A direct access to the (rocky) beach is hardly the saving grace when considering accessibility and safety. It's the first time that I have ever had a "don't recommend" comment in my years of traveling. Pros: A direct access to the rocky beach. However, I wouldn't call it a private beach as people did walk in and had their sunbath or picnic on the rocks too. Cons: I. The accessibility to the hotel is questionable. The road to the hotel is a narrow, wary alley. If one arrives in the evening, there's barely light. We had to use our own flashlights to find our way in. It's located at the outskirts. One needs to rent a scooter to get around and it's quite dark after 8 pm. It could be tricky for the first time visitors. II. Safety is a concern as aforementioned in others' comments. Regretfully, I didn't read them when I booked the hotel. Other than the darkness, there were dogs chasing and ready to jump on us, barring the way in. We had to call the hotel and hoped for the best as it appeared that no one's around in the evening. Fortunately, someone's around that night and came to our rescue. III. The hotel was so understaffed to the point that we did our own housekeeping during our four night stay there. The request for housekeeping was completely ignored. We asked the bartender for new towels instead. IV. The check-in can be challenging. The check-in counter is a tiny desk across the ramp without much space to put one's backpacks, let alone luggage. I was fiercely questioned about my visa validity for no reason. It's the first time that I had ever encountered such a question among all the places that I had ever stayed throughout the world. Sure, it could be a formality but the attitude was offensive. V. The room was old and weary. The room smelled moldy. The water pressure was so weak that one's couldn't quite flush the toilet.

Kleines aber feines Boutique Hotel unter französischer Führung. Tolle Aussicht, gutes Frühstück, schicke Zimmer und hervorragendes Personal. Man merkt, dass das Hotel mit viel Liebe geführt wird.

Awesome hotel. The service, cleanliness, and food are top draw and exceed that of any 5-star property but it's the little things all added together that make for a great hotel and the Beluga excels in getting the whole package just right.

A very relaxing and well run resort. Food and bar were very good and staff was great! Rooms were clean and housekeeping cleaned daily.

The room key is attached to the room card for electricity, etc. This made it very inconvenient to keep the room air-conditioned. The air-conditioning was awful. It did not even reach the bathroom which was stuffy all the time. The air conditioning was so weak that it only blew in one spot. The property is also located in an area where there is no lighting and you have to walk through a very dark alleyway to get back home. As the sunsets early gets pitch dark by around 7:00 PM. It’s very dangerous to be walking around.

Holiday ❘ Couple The Beluga is by far the best hotel in Samui!! I want to thank Ooo, Oliver, Nine , Win and all the other amazing staff as they actually made our holiday very special. They are some of the most beautiful people we have ever met and we will be back next year for sure. The food is nothing short of amazing so we really didn’t go anywhere else as it just doesn’t compare. We stayed in a few rooms as we had to change our booking due to a family situation and they could not have been more helpful . We moved to 3 rooms and they were all beautiful and unique and we loved them all. The beach is the best in Samui and by far the most beautiful right in front of the hotel. There is a bar next door owned by a great bloke called “pok pac”. He usually surfaces around 4pm and is so worth the wait. He is good friends with Beluga so it’s like you are surrounded by family…this place is truly unique and a hidden paradise as we never considered them staff, just friends to have a laugh with and make great food, drinks and have a fun with. .
