Lipa Bay Resort

Trochę daleko od wszystkiego, powinieneś być mobilny. Pokój jest bardzo prosto urządzony. Ogród jest piękny. Z wyjątkiem jednej pani personel jest znudzony i wcale nie zainteresowany gośćmi. Wiszą na swoich krzesłach przy biurku za ladą recepcji i prawie się nie ruszają. Personel przy śniadaniu nawet to przewyższa, nie tylko nie są przyjaźni, ale uważam, że są przyjaźni. Samo śniadanie jest również bardzo ekonomiczne w wyborze, więcej nie jest dozwolone. Nie polecam i na pewno więcej tam nie pojadę.

Hotel położony jest bezpośrednio nad brzegiem morza. Są prywatne domki i większy budynek główny z przestronnymi pokojami. Plusem jest wanna w łazience. Mały, ale ładny basen tuż nad morzem. Na plaży lub przy basenie można zobaczyć piękny zachód słońca. Mały minus to to, że łóżka są dość twarde w tajskim stylu. A hotel nie jest już najnowocześniejszy.

Hôtel agréable avec une belle piscine. La chambre est en fait un bungalow tout en bois. Très bien équipé avec une très grande salle de bains (baignoire, douche intérieure et douche extérieure) Climatisation dans la chambre uniquement. Le seul problème est que le bungalow n’est pas insonorisé et on entend les clients parler du bungalow voisin. L’hôtel n’est pas situé dans une zone très animée donc il vaut mieux être motorisé.Quelques restaurants autour mais la route est sombre le soir pour marcher. Petit déjeuner basique.

My first time in Thailand, I read the Trip Advisor reviews, my travel agent booked this place for me through *******. The bottom line is you get what you pay for. I cried, and stayed one night. I found another, more expensive place within 24 hours.

A very nice place to stay with a lovely area and great pool looking over the beach. The room was excellent with a lovely balcony, however we had stains on the bed sheet which looked suspiciously like blood so they obviously weren't changed and the 'kettle' was around 40 years old and had ants in the water. The staff were friendly but had trouble understanding even basic English which made communication very hard. Overall a good stay and worth a visit

Lovely setting, with a aquatic pathway to beach and pool. Stunning beach to watch sunset. Very very quiet area. Apart from being overcrowded in the pool area, it was nice. Not much around, apart from a couple of family restaurants up the road that serve fab local cheap food. Unfortunately, staff at Lipa Bay were not that helpful. They seemed happy, but not really attentive or interested in helping. We stayed for one night, which was enough.

We stayed at Lipa Bay Resort for 8 nights. Our room was on the third floor (which is accessible by stairs only) with a nice view of the ocean. We liked our room - it was big, comfortable, nice bathroom and deck. We found it quiet at night time and the air con worked great. The only thing we didn’t like was that we found the bed a bit too hard. The location was great. It is located right in the middle of Lipa Bay and the beach is beautiful. There is a lovely pool at this hotel, but only 7 lounge chairs. If you didn’t get a lounge chair by breakfast time they’d be pretty much unavailable for the rest of the day. To the south along the beach and road are some good restaurants. We particularly liked Kaew Thai and Mom’s Kitchen. Good food! The hotel has a restaurant where we had breakfast every morning and had lunch there on one occasion. The breakfast menu is somewhat limited - choice of hot drink, choice of cold drink and one entree - eggs, cereal, pancake or Thai dishes, and white toast. The hotel had scooters and bicycles available to rent. We rented scooters and enjoyed exploring the island. Our favourite spot was Taling Ngam Beach and the Island View Restaurant which is right on that beach. Great food! Idyllic beach perfect for swimming! It was about a 20 minute scooter ride from our hotel. Overall, this was a very nice, clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff who were very helpful. We would stay there again.

Both the hotel and the beach are beautiful, it faces west so you get perfect sunsets, it is in a quiet area off the beaten tracks, the staff is very friendly and welcoming, great hospitality, great facilities,great food and great value for money.

Stayed in this hotel after a long trip. This was our first stop in Ko Samui island. The staff were mostly lovely Thai ladies. The food in the restaurant was delicious and the pool was amazing. The beach was very clean and quiet. I would definitely recommend.
