Kairaba Sandy Villas - All Inclusive - Adults Only

Lovely resort. We went just at the end of the season and although there are a lot of negative points , the good things are the more memorable part for us. The staff were fantastic. Really friendly, welcoming and helpful. We wanted to tip every single one of them! As the resort is partnered with the hotel next door (just past a small car park) and it’s like a small village, you can phone for a buggy and they will pick you up and drive you where you want to go! We walked most of the time Ofcourse, but one day was raining and we had appointments at the spa, so we asked for a buggy to collect us from our room. I love that. The room was beautiful, large and comfortable. We paid extra for a swim up, and were very disappointed that we were given a room that was in the shade all day, so the pool water was cold and we couldn’t sunbathe on our terrace. Had we been staying for longer than 4 nights I would’ve asked to move rooms. The mini bar is always a highlight for me. Everyday it would be filled with wine, lager, water and soft drinks. Which is something I wish all inclusive hotels everywhere would do! The food was lovely. Not quite 5 star, but still very enjoyable. A nice variety and always tasty. The restaurant looks a little bit tired, but it’s comfortable and being ‘adults only’ , it wasn’t noisy. The pool bars were nice and the drink selection was ‘ok’ , sadly though, the whole resort , including the beach area , but mostly the bars, were overrun with wasps. They even sold swatters in the on-site mini market. They don’t leave you alone for a second, and that has sadly put me off returning to this hotel, maybe even just Corfu in general. The pool areas are gorgeous. Really clean and visually stunning. There is an above ground pool with a swim up bar which directly overlooks the beach. We loved spending our days there, on comfortable sunbeds, drinking cocktails and enjoying the view (and fighting off swarms of wasps) The beach area, the private roped off area for this hotel was quite unappealing. The cushions were wet and dirty, very tightly positioned together and just looked a mess. Evening entertainment is lacking completely. We wondered over to the neighbouring hotel but the entertainment there seemed to be just a kids disco at the amphitheater. So we were in bed after dinner almost every night as there is nowhere to go outside of the hotel. The spa is nice. It’s a 4 star spa , and perhaps a bit overpriced in my opinion, but I did quite enjoy my massage on a rainy afternoon. I wouldn’t stay here again because of the wasps and also because of the lack of evening entertainment. A 5 star hotel should most definitely have live music or good quality shows, otherwise your just drinking in the lobby and playing cards

The staff are helpful, warm and welcoming. Special shout out to Christoff the buggy driver, who was at your service in a flash driving us around the resort. Particularly as my husband has mobility issues, this was a real bonus. Son and Nektarios our waiters always a smile serving the best coffee. The chef served first class cuisine. The gardeners, maintenance men and maids were friendly and always had a smile. I’m writing this as we sip our last coffee by the poolside. The sister hotel is more upbeat if you want aqua aerobics, bingo, dancing and entertainment. Like many other guests in sandy villas we chose to stay by our pool which was huge and a choice of sunbeds for a more chilled out holiday. Sad to be leaving but will be back next year.

Just got back from a week at Kairaba Sandy Villas . Beautiful hotel so clean lovely furniture so bright as you walked in . Staff there friendly and helpful .we had to change rooms because i struggled getting up the steps Nicoletta sorted everything out for us we paid extra for a swim up room it was lovely Nicoletta was really helpful always stopped for a chat when she saw us about . Dani on reception was brilliant lovely girl always a smile for you .Haris the waiter always greeted you when you went in never had to wait for a drink filled your glass up when it was getting empty .only problem we had food at breakfast was always cold and not too keen on rest of food .All i can say we enjoyed our stay there thank you Kairaba Sandy Villas

Just got back from a week in Kairaba what a beautiful place so clean staff are great a big thank you to Nicoletta who changed our room because i struggled getting up the steps we paid extra and had a swim up pool which was great, The other staff member which was very helful was Dani on reception and the best waiter was Haris so polite always ready to fill your glass up couldnt do enough for you ,only the downside was food not very good breakfast we always found it cold overall we had a good holiday thank you Kairaba sandy villas .

We stayed here for the first time for 4 nights away. It was definitely worth the money and will be returning for sure in the future! On arrival we were put in a different room to what we had booked, which was lovely of them due to it being an upgrade. However, we still wanted to be in the room we originally booked and explained this to reception. The next day, they were very helpful and lovely with swapping us back into the room we wanted to be in without any hesitation. The staff are all so lovely and helpful, which made our stay even better. We stayed in the swim up pool room which was 10/10, the pool is quite cold to begin with so perfect for a hot day. The room is nice and clean, but wouldn’t recommend walking around in white socks and with no socks on as the floor did appear to make our feet dirty. Apart from this, everything was outstanding. The food is excellent, such a variety of different foods to choose from and great for fussy eaters! Lovely stay and will be returning x

The most beautiful resort with the most beautiful staff. Quiet, peaceful and tranquil. The staff could not do enough for us. The food was incredible! Short walk to the beach, little shop nearby that stocked everything you could need. The evening entertainment was varied and enjoyable every night. Absolutely sensational. We will be back!

Back at our happy place. Yet again Sandy Villas did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived until our last day, everything was perfect. This is the fourth time we have been here and yet again they did not disappoint. All the staff are amazing, and it was great to see old friends and make new ones. Everyone from the housekeeping staff, bar staff, reception, waiters, kitchen and management remembered us and we were treated as family and not guests. The food is amazing and we immediately noticed the impact the new chef has made since we were last here in October. Entertainment was first class and the singers during the week had the place rocking and dancing, everything from opera to disco, swing, jive and Abba. The selection across the nights was great. Have met some lovely people from across the globe, and even although we did not all speak a common language, that was no barrier to the fun we had. Can't wait to come back, and have already booked for October 2024 and 2025. Some nice changes happening to the hotel and some ambitious plans ahead. This is truly our happy place when not at home.
