Excellent experience in Marriott Hotel, breakfast got lots of selections. Enjoy the swimming pool much with beautiful sunset view.

This has to be one of the loveliest hotels in KK. I had access the the executive lounge and the sunset was spectacular.

I was full of hope because it was Marriott after all, but here's all the bad things that happened:
- Building exterior was rusty and didn't seem new at all, although it was built in 2018
- There was a MAJOR power outage for a good 7-8 hours during the day and there was no lift, no air-conditioning, no lights. Telephone didn't work, and we were given no explanations whatsoever as to what happened, or an estimation of when the power would be back. I was on the 12th floor and had to climb down the emergency stairs to figure out what was going on. It was a hot day and we were struggling to survive in the room, taking cold showers.
- Food did not taste good at all. There was probably less than 5 things in the breakfast buffet that seemed decent.
- Ate a watermelon that was bad and had stomachache
- They left the changed pillowcase in the room after making up
- Cleanliness was not up to par, it didn't seem like they vacuum the room regularly
- Towel smelled funny
- Toilet seat cover kept falling down on my back and would not stay up on its own.
- Infinity pool was not impressive. The drain seemed to be algae-infected and not routinely cleaned.
The view was great though, and they changed the slippers every day. Amenities were decent too. People at the M Lounge were very kind in trying to help us.

Stayed for 2 nights. Roof top bar view is superb; Infinity pool is awesome. Just one step to bar street. Recommend.
