The location of the hotel is very good, just in the old town of Cottoll, you can go up the mountain after going out. The room facilities are a bit old and the soundproofing is not very good, but I have no high expectations for this small hotel, the big bed is still very comfortable. Hotel staff is very warm and friendly!
Hotel Monte Cristo is a boutique hotel situated in the historic Kotor Old Town. Hotel is about 5 minutes’ walk from the main entrance and it's almost the same distance towards the North Gate. Cars are not permitted inside the old town, hence, just like any other hotels inside the walls, you will have to walk with your bags towards the hotel. The original architecture seems to have been carefully preserved or restored, but it also has all the modern amenities. You have to climb up the steps to get to the hotel lobby situated on the first floor. Our room was on the second floor, hence, we had to climb again with all our bags, which was not a pleasant experience. There was no hotel staff to help us with the bags. The room, like the hotel, is styled in a vintage/old-fashioned manner with antique wooden furniture and cupboards. All rooms offer air conditioning, TV, free Wi-Fi, a minibar, electric kettle, telephone, locker, bathrobes, and slippers. The bed was saggy and not at all comfortable. It’s high time they change the mattresses. Bathroom has free toiletries and hair dryer. However, it was too small. There is no proper exhaust for the toilet. If you open the windows, then the opposite building is so near and there is no privacy. Breakfast is served in the restaurant located on the ground floor with its entrance from the street. Breakfast was included in the price of the room. Had a good buffet choice with a nice spread of meats, cheeses, breads, olives, cucumber, capsicum, cereals, pancakes, pastries, croissants, yogurts and loads of fresh fruit. Omelets were made to order and coffee or tea was served on the table as per our requirements. The staff were very professional and courteous in their approach, particularly the restaurant staff who very happily and patiently attended to us. Though I read several posts that it’s very noisy at night, we didn’t have any such issues. Maybe since we were visiting in low season, tourists were less and some of the restaurants were closed. Hence, the room rent was also on the lower side. There are plenty of restaurants and bars inside the old town. The tourism office is situated just outside the main entrance walls. Overall, the property is good, but, if you have luggage, ask for rooms in the ground floor room right next to reception.
It was dark in Montenegro, and we got off the bus when we arrived. The landlord came out to help us park the car and mentioned two 26-inch suitcases to the room. The room heating has been turned on, the landlord is very enthusiastic to give a lot of travel tips, and also provides welcome drinks.
The room has a balcony, open the window and say Kotor Bay. When there is sun, sit on the balcony and chat with friends for coffee and enjoy the scenery. Stayed for two nights, and there was a MSC cruise into the bay.
Not far from the ancient city, about 10 minutes walk, there are shopping centers on the way to the ancient city, there are big supermarkets, very convenient.
The room is not very big, but it is equipped with a kitchen and tableware. It is very convenient to simply make something to eat.
Every time I make a trip to book a hotel, it is my most tangled thing. I look at the evaluation style and I will always stay in several hotels or B&Bs for a long time. This time I brought a group of friends to play freely. It’s really true to me. There was a test and a torment, and I thought about the whole journey to let everyone feel different tastes - regular hotel Hilton, invincible sea view villa, forest log cabin, castle hotel, special hotel... Today's Krista Puglia Restaurant Hotel (Ctrip Four Stars) is uniquely situated in the heart of the town, surrounded by mountains and waters and beautiful surroundings... no matter the day or night... and the last two hotels Waiting for my arrival, hope can also bring us full happiness! Reservations such as blind date, all based on the feeling [smirking] It is said that the hotel breakfast and violin help, looking forward to sleep...
The location is excellent. It is in the ancient city. The facilities are very comfortable. The front desk service is very good. The recommended restaurant will be pointed in the direction of the map. It is delicious. It is raining. The umbrella is also in place.
The apartment is situated inside one of the original old buildings of Kotor within the city walls. It has easy access to everything in the old city. We were able to park a car about 200 m away in a public car park currently at no cost Well refurbished with plenty of space. We were travelling as two couples. It was great to have separate bedrooms each with its own bathroom. The host was very helpful, explained a number of useful things about the city and the apartment. He was easily reachable if required. As this apartment was within the city centre, it was very busy and noisy. However, this did not bother us and the noise seemed to stop around about midnight. The apartment was very comfortable and we slept well. We would have no hesitation about booking this apartment again.
The Muo Apartments is an ideal spot for travelers wanting to discover the city. The Muo Apartments offers a pleasant stay in Kotor for those traveling for business or leisure. Tivat Airport is located approximately 9km away from this hotel. Keeping busy is easy, with Kotor beach, Scurda and Montenegro Speedboat And Submarine all nearby. In their spare time, guests can explore the hotel's surroundings. This Kotor hotel offers parking on site. When it comes to Kotor hotels, the Muo Apartments is highly regarded for its excellent facilities.
Because I booked a hotel late, I didn’t have many choices. Hotels in the ancient city are very expensive. This Puerta apartment cost 4,000 for three nights, which is indeed very expensive. The service is average, the price is high but there is no free water, no slippers, and no cleaning service during the stay (although we generally don't need it). Arrive at noon, enter the north gate of the ancient city, go up the alley to the left of the church, and call the notice at door 505, telling you that you cannot check in before two o'clock, and you can only sit in the ice cream shop with your luggage for an hour. Later, my brother took me to a nearby alley. The room was here and the cleaning was rather sloppy. The highlight is the breakfast, a cooperative breakfast with Athos Street food, which is large and delicious. Because we had to go out early on the first day, the beauty at the dining bar made sandwiches in the evening and delivered them to our room. It was a great review! If you book early, you will definitely choose an apartment not far outside the city.
I am shocked that Guesthouse Athos doesn’t have more reviews, because I found my stay here absolutely wonderful! Located just a few steps away from the more bustling/touristy squares, Athos lets you feel a bit more removed and tranquil, especially nice for a quiet morning coffee at one of the cafes outside. The room was spotless and comfortable, with picture-perfect views from every side. I made an emergency booking and within 15 minutes my room was ready for me and the check in staff helped me carry my bags up the stairs (they are quite steep as others have mentioned). One thing to know - there is a lively bar next door, if you are a light sleeper I would recommend earplugs. A lovely experience here that I highly recommend for anyone looking for a Kotor hotel.
