One of the most beautiful properties to stay at. Topped with some excellent service Well led by the GM Suku Verghese Long list of brilliant staff all always wanting to help. The front office, the Buggy boys at the restaurants, every possible touch point.

Excellent property..we always were in doubt whether to go for leela or taj. Property wise taj is best, has both backwaters and beach coverage. Family friendly, good hospitality, took care of our kids completely. Mr. Vinpugal was very helpful.

overall experience was fine. got the experience of natural habitat but the plants and trees were not maintained. They would have looked better if trimmed optimally . view from balcony was limited, lot of humidity inspite of dry weather. Breakfast could have more variety .

Pros Check in by Ms Jasmine Beautiful ambience at the seaside restaurant Complimentary boat ride Complimentary hi tea huge buffet breakfast spread Vegan dishes available Fond memories on check out Cons Would have liked the room to be a bit bigger though it was a base category room. The size of the shower cubicle also was just about enough.

This was our second stay at the Taj Kovalam after 11 years. Time has stood still and we had an excellent time. The hospitality and care of the staff has not waned . The care and warmth of all the staff was exceedingly exceptional. Special note was to the staff Mr. Suku Verghese, Mr. Shadab Khan, Mr. Anuraj Raj, Ms. Jasmine, Ms. Aanie, Ms. Pragati, Ms. Tanisha, Mr. Vinpugal. The amazing meals prepared by chef Mr. Mayur Ramachandran and Mr. munish was so thoughtful. The personal touch in the meals was delicious. The soups were to die for. The room with plunge pool is absolutely worth it Room 403. We had such a wonderful stay and can’t wait to be back.

The best Taj beach resort in India. Fantastic location, and awesome hospitality make this an unforgettable experience. The entire team is wonfderful and does beyond expectations to make your time memorable. While I wish I could name everybody, I must express my commednation for Jasmine from the front desk who took so much time to interact with all the guests throughout their stay to understand their needs, Pramod from F&B who delightfully accomodated and wowed at every dining experience and Mr. Vinpugal who stepped and ironed out our issues for the smoothest experience. My Kudos also to GM Suku Verghese for inspiring his team for such hospitality. The people are what make this resort the best Taj on the beach in India.
