My stay at Guesthouse Oasis in Bonaire was absolutely fantastic! I cannot recommend it highly enough. John and Kim, the owners, are not just hosts; they are beautiful souls, always ready to assist with anything you might need. Their warm hospitality made my holiday truly special. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning for a refreshing retreat after a day of windsurfing and scuba diving. Being next to the pool added an extra layer of relaxation to the experience. The ambiance at Guesthouse Oasis is like a big family, and I quickly made friends with other lovely and friendly guests. One of the highlights is the proximity to diving spots, and John even rents gear, making the whole diving experience seamless. Solo travelers, take note – you'll make friends quickly here, whether you're looking for companions to explore the island or join you in underwater adventures. The guesthouse provides a well-equipped kitchen with all the tools you might need, along with a spacious fridge. It's only a 10-minute drive from both the town center and the windsurfing spots, making it incredibly convenient. Speaking of windsurfing, Bonaire is a paradise for enthusiasts, with its shallow lagoon and constant winds. It caters perfectly to beginners, freeriders, and freestylers alike. The overall package at Guesthouse Oasis is nothing short of a dream – I liked it so much that I extended my stay for an additional week, and I would gladly repeat this experience a hundred times over. My second stay with Kim & Jon at the Oasis & these guys have got it all. High quality accommodations at very reasonable prices, fantastically equipped large communal kitchen (the upstairs apar**ent has its own), lovely pool garden frequented by mesmerising hummingbirds, rinse tanks & secure storage for your gear, provision of dive gear (if Delta have sent yours to the wrong location & you need to rent some as happened to some other guests) & pretty much anything else you need. Conveniently located in a peaceful part of the island & run by 2 just great people, love you guys & will DEFINITELY be staying with you AGAIN (……and AGAIN, and AGAIN until I can actually live on Bonaire 🇧🇶!!!)

When arriving at Oasis Guesthouse I was a bit nervous, travelling alone. But it was a very warm welcome and stay. I booked last minute and the owners were super helpful and flexible. There was a very nice and relaxed a**osphere. The community kitchen, garden and pool offered nice interaction with other guests. Although Kim and John are working very hard, they always have time for questions or a chat. They are passionate about the island and diving! And it’s absolutely recommended to join them for a dive, or ask them for suggestions for any activity. The place is also great for remote working (digital nomads). Internet is stable and reliable and it’s fantastic to take a dip in the pool in between meetings. Both Bonaire and the guesthouse are great. I enjoyed every minute and I’m sure I’ll be back ❤️

John and Kim were excellent hosts for our guest house stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Our room was clean and bright and spacious. The common spaces were warm, friendly and inviting. The pool was heavenly and we used it frequently. We cannot wait for our next vacation!!!

John and Kim were amazing hosts. They work hard to maintain the property but always made time to be engaging and have conversations with us. They offer a wonderful place that was clean, bright and inviting. The rooms are wonderful. The shared kitchen is wonderfully stocked for everyone to share and makes extended vacations great to be able to cook meals of your own. Diving options are available and the pool at the house is fabulous. We are already planning our next stay.

After my 4 or 5th stay at Oasis Guest House with John and Kim as hosts I wanted to say I always greatly enjoy my time there. They are the nicest and most accommodating hosts. I love just hanging out in the backyard by the pool and always have a great time with the other guests.

What a beautiful island and guesthouse! I very much enjoyed my stay there. The owners, Kim and John, were very kind and accommodating and helped me to get acquainted with the island, making suggestions of places to dine and points of interest! Their breakfast was amazing as well and very traditional, using local fruit/vegetables from the island! Kim is an expert divemaster and took me scuba diving! They both know the island very well above and below the surface😉! I can’t wait to return!

Having been to Bonaire on a few previous occasions this time I needed a base for diving in my favourite area of Belnem. The island appears to me to be becoming more corporate resort based and if this is what you want fine. BUT if you would like a base for activities and exploring what the island has to offer then this makes a superb base. Rooms are spotless and air con works well. Not sure about the communal kitchen ? Don’t be it’s full of proper equipment and if you want to sort a few meals yourself then it’s far better than one ring and a kettle in your room which many others count as a kitchen. Kim and John the owners put the guests first and if you want a recommendation then you can trust it. I met lots of the small number of fellow guests, many of whom are returners which says a great deal. This is a local business run by hard working owners worthy of your support - you will not be disappointed. Boutique Guest house says it for me.
