During the Raya week, we went to Permai Hotel KT for a staycation. We really enjoyed it. The hotel room was clean and recently renovated. The kids love the comfortable bed and the swimming pool. The room comes with 2 complimentary breakfast for adults and extra fees for kids older than 4 years old. There’re lots of options for breakfast, including typical Malaysian nasi, noodles, cereals, kuih, fruits and salad. We also took dinner there. We ordered pastas and they were served with lots of seafood and vegetables. Between, I guess the sauce was mostly made from scratch. And the ingredients were fresh. The taste was awesome. My younger one is always picky with food. Yet she couldn’t stop eating her pasta and other orders 😆 The quality of the food far exceeds the standard for a 3 star hotel. Also, all the food was reasonably priced. With RM170 per night for a superior room, I think the experience and quality far exceed what it should deliver 😊. If you’re looking for a comfortable yet reasonably priced stay in Kuala Terengganu town., I highly recommend this hotel. And my only regret? Room was neat and spacious for family of 5 like me. Bfast food delicious, swimming pool was excellent, the kids love it so much, will definitely come again.

Bilik overall okey but smell carpet and room like old…my suggestion to spray with air refresher or put the air refresher…tq

We have selected this hotel to explore Kuala Terrenganu without being among the traffic of the city side, and it was a good choice. Set on a wide area with gardens, the chalets look nice, with a lot a space around, and a buggy service if you do not wish to walk. For sure the place used to be in better conditions, and hopefully they will be able to fully renovate it if more tourists will visit this area. The room was ok, and clean, breakfast was good, and you could either sit indoor or outdoor with a nice view on the river. Duyong is a nice island where you can walk around freely, or you can just book a Grab to go to town at any time. The staff were very friendly and polite. Would we return? Yes!

The hotel staff called me on the morning of check-in date to remind me of my booking and to confirm my check-in time. There’s a touch of attentiveness in this gesture. The family room is value for money for two nights’ stay in a strategic location (near Kuala Terengganu Chinatown). The hotel does not have its own car park; parking is the public parking bays along the street (daily rates are applicable but we didn’t have to pay because our stay was during the public holidays and the weekend). Our request for four single beds was fulfilled. Overall, we had a comfortable stay in this hotel. Just a bit of advice for future guests: There’s no elevator service in the building. Hence, please do not rate this hotel badly because of this fact. This hotel is near a mosque/ surau, so morning prayers can be heard clearly. Whilst this does not bother my family (this is after all rather common in Malaysia), light sleepers should take note. Again, please do not rate this hotel badly because of the morning prayers being heard.

I loved the view where you can randomly see the airplane departing and landing now and then. The room was quite nice, with all the amenities. I look forward to booking here again if I ever come to Terengganu in the future

Everything was good. Hotel was very clean & have big space, suitable for family. The swimming pool also awesome & beautiful😍 Staff also have good manner & friendly. Surely will repeat for next trip!

Looking through the reviews here, there are no recent ones. Things have deteriorated much since I first stayed here in 2019. Back then, service was friendly, room was nice and clean, aircon was functioning like it should. Perhaps blame it on covid restrictions past 2 years. Blame it on low cash flow to do maintenance. Blame it on lack of motivated staff. Truth is, this hotel’s standard has gone down. Broken, poor maintained room, unmotivated & deary staff working, moldy & poorly cleaned bathroom.. I can go on but you can probably get the picture. Pity, it was great back in 2019 but I won’t be returning.

YT Midtown’s convenient location continues to be a major plus, allowing easy access to the city’s attractions and amenities. The hotel is very new! It’s a very good hotel in Terengganu! There is a coffee shop and a newly opened Thai restaurant across from the hotel downstairs. There is a Chinese restaurant on the right when you go out.
