Mile 36 Lodge

Boring menu for breakfast in the morning ,only fried rice and noodles, and very poor internet, there it’s the wood house ,you can not sleep at night when stay under the long house , fist and last for me… 👎

Was okay only for price. Not soundproof. Limited car parking. Wifi not strong. Cellular network also quite bad. Room size not bad.

We never knew the rooms we booked is the last end of the lodge, facing the hills, had to walk about 7- 10min. It will be a good location for those who like sunset/sunrise however it was raining when we reached there. The rooms were cold since nearer to hills.The water not bad, but quite slow. One of the rooms we booked no hot water, hence had to go to another room to bath.

This lodge was good but a bit old.. the scenery was quite nice and cool especially when the fog appear in the morning and evening.. About the breakfast foods ..need a bit improvement..

Everything was just average. Sorry. Room has no TV, bathroom has no tap with hose. Cat and dogs were freely roaming everywhere till the front door of our room. Please improve.

I’m happy but no view for Akinabalu Mount

1. Location - very close to Kinabalu National Park HQ. 2. Service - all staff is friendly and helpful, however note that you will need to carry your bags and look for your room yourself, the area is big. Transfer service is extremely unreliable. I asked for a car at 8 am next day, woke up at 7 and the car arrived at 10. When I asked at 8 the lady on the reception said because the car was broken and they were fixing it. Firstly, she would not tell me if I didn’t ask. Secondly, she said we can try another driver, I agreed, she made a call but in the end it turned out she was talking to the same driver and didn’t actually change a car. This several hours change ruined my plans. Terrible. 3. Cleanliness - pretty clean, just don’t look under a bed. 4. Amenities - NO WIFi at the room, only at reception and a restaurant. Only Malaysian sockets. Restaurant food was fine for me. Other notes: the hotel area itself is pretty nice, enjoyed my stay except this transfer problem. Agree with other reviews that it gets very humid and cold at night, so have some dry warm clothes with you.

Gloomy, Dull, old, & scarry. We check in around 3.15pm at room no.8 and we checked out 5.00pm the same day. You figure it out.
