Fengling Youth Hostel

The day I arrived I felt it was a little messy because lots of girls were arriving at the same time. But then everything was perfect! Location is great, only 10 minutes walk from the Kunming Train Station. Lots of convenience stores and supermarket as well as restaurants in the area. Rooms are ok. Balcony with great view to relax. Excellent kitchen you can cook anything. And someone cleans everyday, which is super important. I enjoyed staying here!

friendly stuff, but no English. Only one bathroom/toilet for the whole hotel. Rooms are very small, no space for luggage.

Location is good near the train station, easy for me to go to Lijiang/Shangrila. The Laoban very kind even though not speaking english well, very helpfully and always smile. Have a kitchen if you want to cook. Only the bathroom that limited only available one, so you need to manage time well if you want to leave early. But overall is good, its typically Youth Hostel… would like to stay again.

The location is near a train station, only 5 minutes by walk, the room is clean and cozy but a bit different to find, especially at night. I arrived there at night and the owner didn’t prepare the bed for me. I had to make a bed by myself.

I stayed here the last time, and I liked it. This time, except for its closeness to the train station, I cannot find anything more of value. Also, the living room is quite full because they put more bunk beds, so it looks crowded.

Super kind host, less than 10 minutes walk from the railway station. Only bad side is the single bathroom for the whole place. Though there were so nice people that it was not a problem.

The host is very nice and discreet, so even though I was the only guest on my first night, it wasn't too scary at all. He is learning English and although the place is very recent, everything feels like home and it's a very authentic experience so do not be afraid to come! And I say this as a solo female traveller :) the balconies with a city view of the trains and roads are a big plus. Maybe he could communicate a little bit more instructions before arrival, especially for international guests who cannot ask the officers where the building is. (Not too hard to find in my opinion though) I don't mind making my bed, because the sheets are very clean. The bed is Chinese style, meaning quite hard, I am used to it but it's good to know if you're sensitive to that. 5 min walk from the Kunming Train Station (! There are also a South and North station)

Location is convenient to going around via walking shopping street. None of staff dont speak in English. They have a nice view terrace. I hope they clean dorm room at least one time in 3 days.

首先我訂的四人間，晚上十點到的時候和我説沒有了，給我換個六人間，我想比較晚了也懶得折騰，而且第二天一早就走睡一晚算了。 一進門有點震驚，我住過青旅不少，這是第一次狠狠踩雷，這個是兩室一廳改的，客廳是男生八人間，廁所也衹有一個，我估計住滿得有二十個人。六人間也很小很擠！直到這裏我還想着忍一下算了，確實便宜！我甚至把床鋪了一半，結果回頭一看全是別人抹的鼻涕。誰懂真的是想死。 於是我打電話給老闆想問問他還有沒有別的床。他説實在沒了，又正好在接待別的客人，我也不想起沖突，我就説你先接待別人吧，畢竟做生意都不容易，然後他帶一個男生先進房間了，我看後面這個女生沒進，我多嘴一問，人家訂的四人間就有四人間能住，給我氣炸了，立馬穿好衣服連夜打車去了朋友家，訂的時候就不該省這個錢，我訂的時候衹看到一個差評沒咋在意，女生非常不建議來住！！！
