I have heard about the reputation of Green Lake Hotel for a long time, so I brought my family here in early February 24 and finally checked in. His home has an old-school sense of sophistication inside and out (laughs). Rooms: The standard room is small and compact. The mini bar is rich in content and even has a moka pot. Their slippers are really easy to wear. So far, only the slippers from his store and Shanghai Disneyland Hotel are so comfortable. facility: The shower head in the room we stayed in was leaking. After washing, we found water leaking all over the floor, so we had to ask room service to come and clean it up. Serve: You have to take your time to find a parking space in the parking lot, there are not many parking spaces. Check-in at the front desk is fast. Desserts are provided in the evening, with sufficient ingredients and delicious taste. All in all, it was a great stay experience with my family!

I thought this hotel was good value for money, considering its 5 stars and location in downtown Kunming. The room was spacious and the bathroom was well appointed, with a lovely bath(with very hot water which I often find lacking) and a shower with great water pressure. The only downsides were that I found the room itself(not the bathroom) to be a bit outdated in terms of the fixtures and fittings. Also, the gentleman who checked me in wasn’t particularly friendly. He couldn’t speak English(which is not a problem at all, although I would expect it in a five star hotel) but he didn’t say a word to me throughout the entire check in process until he gave me my key. There’s much more to communication than just language and I felt his customer service skills were a bit lacking considering his position on a reception desk.

The hotel location is perfect. It's right next to the Green Lake Park. Transport is easy with lots of options. There are many shops nearby. The hotel room is spacious, with everything I want. The breakfast is great with decent selections. I will choose this hotel again.

The stay was very comfortable, the 2-meter bed was big enough, the breakfast was very rich, there were so many varieties, it was dazzling, you can eat 6 eggs per egg, hot orange juice, and yogurt sold in the mall, you can drink all kinds of coffee, flower cakes, hand-picked ones Pancakes, pancakes, fruits, etc. There are also popcorn, chicken buns, etc. in the children's area. The Hotel is located in the center of Kunming. Two metro lines just nearly. One line direct deserve the airport and the other one direct rich the south railway station. By foot one can go to the historical city center. We booked the suite 2026 which is very spacious with big windows, overview the city. The decoration is outdated. The bed is pretty old. Sometimes the AC doesn’t work well. Breakfast is very good. All the stuff are very helpful and friendly. Overall is not a real 5 stars hotel but the price is very fair for what you get.

It was already past 10 pm when we arrived. The staff member Nana checked us in. She was very professional and considerate. She also gave us a complimentary check-in afternoon tea delivered to the room. We wanted disposable cups at night, and Miss Nana quickly delivered them. The overall service is very considerate and makes you feel like you are at home. The area around the hotel is very quiet, especially suitable for people with neurasthenia like me who need a quiet environment. The breakfast is also delicious, with many varieties, which can basically meet the needs of most people. Although the room is not large in size, it is fully furnished and has no peculiar smell. What I like most is that the soundproofing of the bathroom is relatively good, so it does not affect the rest of my companions. The hygienic condition is also good, so people with mysophobia find it OK. Overall, it is a hotel that I would choose again.

This hotel is in an absolutely great location. It’s vibey and full of vibrancy. The rooms are a little in the small side but that okay. The shower was great! Loved the welcome fruit. The breakfast didn’t have much for vegetarian eaters. But it was great that it was till 12:30. Overall great hotel! With a nice artsy vibe and a great skybar view and swimming pool. Downside was none of the staff spoke English. For an international chain this was shocking .

One odd thing about this hotel is that it is not named Jiqing Hotel, but instead it is named EverLuck Hotel. As a result I passed by it two - three times before realizing that this was my place to stay. Secondly, the area itself may be not pretty or elegant as it is on a small busy street full of little shops and late night barbecues surrounded by old local neighborhood buildings, but the location is excellent as it is right in the middle of all the major downtown Kunming areas to visit. As such this is why I chose it despite its 2 star status. The lower score rating is because the cleaning is not so good (the floor was dusty when I checked in) and the amenities are rather subpar, such as thin toilet paper and a need to scan a QR code to access the wifi. However the staff were friendly, the bed was comfortable, it was freshened up daily, and it suited my needs.

Although I read other people's reviews, which were not very good, I still booked this hotel and was very disappointed. From last night to today, I almost froze to death. After dinner, I asked the front desk why there was no heating. I was told that the hotel had stopped heating. I was surprised. This is a hotel, not a residential area. Does the air conditioning have to be used at different times? Hot water can be used to take a shower at night without turning on cold water. However, there is no hot water at all in the morning. After washing my face with cold water, I didn’t even dare to rinse my teeth. It was so cold. I sincerely hope the hotel won’t be like this (saving money)

The hostel is super nice and the staff is excellent. Location is also good, close to a metro station and to the park. The in-house restaurant is also great and very cheap so it is a perfect one stop for everyone travelling in the city. Recommend.

You'd want to stay here for the location, just northwest of the hotel is a street with a bunch of breweries and restaurants, including Salvadors, an American-opened restaurant/pub that all the foreigners go to and has a great vibe for someone looking for a more lovely atmosphere and solid Western food. The hotel is on the north side of cuihu lake which is nice to walk around and also hosts Yunnan University, though you need to register thru a qr code to enter the university. Hotel room itself was quite small but fair for its price. Citigo is like a boutique small office hotel, there's a meeting room downstairs you can book for meetings or just work out of, and a small bar/cafe you can order drinks from. At night around ten? Or eleven pm they serve Yunnanese noodles. Lounge area outside the hotel lobby is large and overlooks the lake, nice spot for remote workers like me and you can grab some beers from the bar. Would definitely use for my next visit to Kunming, largely for the location which can't be beat.
