Ok slightly mixed feelings Room was ok very basic but on the plus side very private Bed was like a rock but after we told them they provided memory foam toppers which solved the problem The grounds were lovely as were the two pools,lots of beds all set out beautifully.Most of the staff were lovely apart from the staff serving breakfast were almost downright rude. The food there is ok but I have never been anywhere in my life where it took so long to arrive ! We only had dinner there one night as it was quite expensive with the most dreadful service Also at breakfast they always ran out of half the food.Having said this we enjoyed staying there and Luca ( the manager) even offered to take us back to the airport himself when our taxi did not arrive on time

Our stay at the mwezi boutique resort was a unique experience. From the typical location, pools and great food create a perfect mix for either families or a group of friends looking for adventure on the island Note of credit goes to the knowledgeable, efficient and super nice staff A smile makes a good day I highly recommend the stay Thanks Billy, again

We stayed here for three nights after spending one week in matemwe.amazing location,very clean room,friendly staffs.We loved how peaceful the place is.All the staffs are very helpful.We rate 5 stars ro harrison who was there for us.I must come back.

The location is good, the pool is nice and well mantained, breakfast is ok but nothing special. The restaurant in generell is acceptable but not outstanding. We stayed in a bungalow near the pool, the toilette was leaking (not usable at some point) and the faucet was also leaking. Overall the bungalow was clean, but more like a beach hut. Every evening the hut is sprayed with pesticides because of the mosquitoes, which caused a cough at night. The employees at the reception were often overwhelmed and unreliable regarding pick-up times for a shuttle or standard services. Ultimately disappointing if you believe the descriptions and reviews online.

We stayed here for a week after a week safari in Tanzania. What a great choice of resort to recharge the batteries after a full-on week on safari. We were a family of four and stayed in a poolside bungalow. The location was fantastic, but on reflection, one of the larger duplex units would have been better suited for us. Also, the shower was not fit for purpose, style over substance, and a traditional shower as in the changing room (used on the last day) would have been better! The staff were fantastic and couldn't have done more for us, we were half board and whilst there was a good choice for main courses, starters were very limited.

Great location. Nice pool. Acceptable breakfast. Reasonable priced meals. Nice staff. Staying in a bungalow by the pool close to the beach. Be aware: the beds upstairs are not made for adults and my sons age 19 & 21 are not having the best nights. Please also be warned that the bungalow in reality is a hut. Do not keep any food in the bungalow. We had “visitors” last night, making awful sounds and helping themselves from unopened packages of biscuits. Monkeys? Mice? Rats? Very unpleasant whatever it was.

🙂🙂Very well equipped facility , pool well maintained but beach with seaweeds in the water , attentive and dedicated staff. 😒bed very hard ( staff added foam without much effect ( we were not the only ones to make this observation ) . 😒😒Air conditioned rooms with 2 windows fitted only with mosquito nets cannot be condoned

This is an amazing place. The rooms were so clean and had everything you need in them. The place is very peaceful (most of the time) and right on the beach. Food was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a Swahili night which was very good entertainment and a very chilled pool event with happy hour and Tapas. The only problem we had was a very loud cockerel which lived next door and woke us up at 4am every morning and was very vocal throughout the day!

Even though we were not staying there, Luca the manager was so kind to let us spend the whole day and use their accommodations and restaurant. Harrison at the front desk was very kind and helpful, Nadia always received us with a smile and Frederick kept us cocktails hidrated, he even walked us back to our stay house late at night. Thank you all for making this weekend amazing.
