Konk Hostel

We had a great stay at Konk hostel. Check-in was easy with the online app. We are a group of 3 in a private double and a bed in a shared dorm- because it was out of season we pretty much had the hostel to ourselves. The rooms were clean and the beds very comfortable! The shared dorms had little curtains on the beds to give privacy. The shower was lovely and hot as well. We used the free washing machine and dryer in the common areas which was really handy after a day of scuba diving. There is a vending machine in the common area with drinks, snacks and the coffee pods for the coffee machine (you need cash for this). We saw a member of staff briefly but we didn’t need them and they were great at communicating through wassap. If you’re in a shared room you’ll get a notification to say when someone is going to be joining the room with you which is handy to know. The location is fine, we chose it as it’s 10 minute walk to the dive school. As we were out of season we had to travel down to Cape Palos to find open restaurants, we used the bird scooters (there is a scooter station 5 minutes walk left from the hostel) There is free street parking close to the hostel. I would recommend this hostel and will be happy to stay again. I have a few comments just for improvement below for the management: 1. Frosted glass doors on bathrooms! These give little privacy or block any sound, I don’t think these are suitable for shared dorms. 2. A mirror outside the bathroom would be great for hair appliances and make-up etc. 3. The bed was very comfortable! But the duvet without a cover was sharp on the seam and scratched.

El descanso en nuestra habitación (n10) fue impresionante. Sientes que te metes en una cápsula de descanso profundo. Limpieza de diez, las almohadas y el colchon perfectos. La ducha es amplia y con muchísima presión de agua. Todo es nuevo y súper moderno. El check in lo hicimos en recepción y fue ágil y el recepcionista súper amable. De todos los alojamientos de La Manga, sin duda es la mejor opción.

Una experiencia buena en un lugar increíble. Todo limpio y en orden, el personal muy atento con nuestras peticiones y la ubicación muy buena con el mar Mediterráneo y el Mar Menor muy cerca. De lo más cómodo para aloj**** en La Manga y Cabo de Palos. Si el buen tiempo lo permite repetiremos.

Un hostel espectacular que parece un hotel de mas categoria, muy moderno y funcional, bien situado y accesible. Cerca de los dos mares, a dos minutos de cada uno. Todos los acabado correctos, cama grande fenomenal y comoda. El personal muy amable. Por poner alguna pega, le falta en los acabados algunas perchas para colgar toallas, tanto dentro, como fuera. La terraza le falta "intimidad". Te ven y tu ves al que pas por la calle. Recomendable para todo tipo de viajero.
