Rifugio Lilla

Great place to stay in La Thuille. The rooms are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Lorenzo is very helpful and you get a free bus ride down to the lifts first thing in the morning and picked up again at the end of the day. We had breakfast every day, which was great. We didn't go for half board but the food looked great. Would definitely recommend.

Lorenzo, Erica and Samantha could not have been more helpful or accommodating. We traveled as a group of 14 which can be a challenge for a small hotel but were treated to excellent service. We were dropped to and from the ski centre each day ( not easy with so many bodies to move about) and offered lifts to other locations without hesitation. Food was amazing, great portion sizes, well prepared dishes and swift service. The team could t do enough for us and made us feel very spoiled.

If passion was something one can learn, this little and animal-friendly hotel would be a perfect place to teach it. As passion can't be faked, a group of friends who run this hotel truly know how to take care of every guest in a way he/she constantly feels at home, within "a family" ready to help if there's a need. If the local tourist office is closed (as it was when I went there), here you'll get an accurate information about the territory, snow-sports, hiking paths, nature, culture & history of La Valle. There are books and games for children in the welcoming restaurant and the kitchen of chef Mauro is simply excellent: short menu greatly balances nutritional ingredients a person needs in a meal, with preference for local products (fontina, salmon trout, home-made beef-toungue, pastries, a lot of vegetables...),all dishes we've tried were prepared and presented with great skills. The rule of "poco ma buono" applies to the wine-list, too, wines are rigorously selected among the best VdA can produce. For these reasons, I recomend this place together with its (very affordable) restaurant. A place to come back.

Second time staying here, definitely will not be the last. Pasquale and Lorenzo can't do enough for you. Beautiful well kept rooms with everything needed to make your stay as lovely as possible. We stay half board, breakfast is just what you need for a day on the slopes, pastries, breads, yogurts, cereals, bacon, eggs, ham, cheese, the list goes on! The evening meal consists of a choice of two starters and two main courses with a dessert to finish, couldn't ask for more really. A lovely little hotel a stones throw from the piste, we choose to walk it (walk that breakfast off) , however, I noticed the hotel was doing a shuttle service for those that requested it. A real find, can't imagine going anywhere else, see you in 2024 Rifugio.

Stayed here for one week as two families for a skiing holiday. The accommodation is exceptionally clean and the apartment had everything we needed as a family. We were half board and they simply couldn't do enough for us, from the breakfast to the evening meal, everything was perfect. The food is delicious and there is plenty of it, my children ate so much steak (daisy), we could not have asked for more. Everything is home made and authentic, from the beautiful vegetable soup to the trout to the chicken, simply wonderful. The hosts are always on hand and nothing is too much trouble for them. I can't wait to return, easy access to the slopes and the village, who could ask for more. A real find, thankyou Rifugio.

Il posto è carino, ma ha tante note negative. Introvabile con il navigatore, la doccia è qualcosa di improponibile composta da una tende che puzza di muffa, la rubinetteria consumata, asciugarsi con le asciugamani equivale ad asciugarsi con il cartone e dulcis in fundo il proprietario è gentile e carino solamente quando tutto fila liscio, al minimo intoppo la situazione cambia. Siamo stati trattati come due bambini da sgridare, peccato che siamo adulti e abbiamo anche pagato per soggiornare. Pagare per essere trattati da ospiti indesiderati. Non consiglio assolutamente.

Locale e personale molto accogliente. Ambiente molto casalingo e famigliare. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa! Camere pulite e cibo fatto in casa. Poche scelte,ma tutto buonissimo! Se avremmo l’occasione ci ritorneremo. Lo consiglio.

Situato a meno di dieci minuti a piedi dal centro,con parcheggio ampio e comodo.Ambiente molto carino e curato.Camere con TV e wifi pulite e curate , servizio impeccabile.Personale gentile e disponibile.Ottima cucina. Stra - Consigliato.
