The grounds are spectacular. There are outdoor areas to sit and relax to the sound of a babbling brook. The room had beautiful old wood floors, great shower, and air conditioning. Pierre, at the front desk, was very welcoming. He made us feel at home.

We had lunch here for a special occasion but were under-impressed. The setting is lovely with a shady terrace and a gorgeous view. However we found the staff to be either aloof or obsequious- they just didn’t hit the right mark. The description of the food by the waiter at each course was learnt and garbled - and really rather meaningless. We had a starter of asparagus and smoked trout which was delicious and before this we had some delicious amuse-bouches on the house. It was the main that was disappointing - my porcelette was undercooked and in parts still raw and therefore inedible ( I live in France and like the flash cooking of meat, but undercooked pork is never acceptable) I should really have sent it back. It was bland and for a Michelin restaurant uninspiring. It was served with a purée de pommes de terre - very traditional but cloyingly thick which I didn’t enjoy. The house wine at 10€ a glass was over-priced and uninteresting.

We enjoyed a delightful couple of nights in this beautiful setting. We were made to feel quickly welcome and were very well looked after throughout our stay. The restaurant was full each night despite it being so early in the season and we were glad to have booked ourselves in. The food and wine were delicious and plentiful and I was really well catered for as a vegetarian.

Wonderful stay! Beautiful setting, charming family-run hotel, lovely rooms with very tasteful contemporary decor, friendly staff. Sadly the heated outdoor pool was far too cold to use. Our big regret was not booking dinner (especially because of the beautiful terrace) and by time we wanted to there were no tables left. But after eating dinner elsewhere (very few options in the area, fyi) we came back for dessert when tables had opened. Will highly recommend this hotel to everyone we know!

Amazing location with very nice rooms. The staff are lovely and couldn't do enough for us; chef went out of their way to put together vegetarian courses for us (even at very late notice). Amazing desserts.

The restaurant could not offer us a table for dinner when we arrived at 6pm they would not supply even a sandwich in our room and we had to drive 10km to get some crisps and bread to eat that night.
also tried to charge us for the room when I'd paid upfront.

So disappointing. We had been here before and had such a good time we decided to return with friends. The hotel was okay, nothing very special but well overpriced. The young man who checked us in and waited on us with the bar was outstanding. The restaurant experience was exceptionally disappointing. The waiter snooty, and condescending. The food mediocre. Pork and lamb were filled with fat. Other items unremarkable, including dessert. The mushroom appetizer was excellent tho.
