The best comforters !! Good running hot water with good amount of water pressure in the bathroom . Neat and clean rooms , food is above average some items were really good . Good staff , lift available which is a blessing at 9000 + feet but subject to power availability. Power cuts are frequent . They do have timings for generators. Were given an emergency lamp in case of power outage . It’s a good property in a small place with modern facilities. Though tv wasn’t functional due to weather . Great place to stay and enjoy ur time in lachung.

Amazing Experience, Wonderful Services, Soothing Ambience, What Else I Could Ask For !! The Quality and Variety of Food was beyond imagination in such a remote location with super fast service and the best part was availability of all the top brands of alcohols (all my favorite). I have been to Lachung several times and couldn't found centralised heaters and lift/escalators in any hotels in the past, But surprisingly, this is the 1st time and i think the 1st Hotel in Lachung that have centralised Heaters, lifts and advanced water heating system. The views from all the rooms is so so amazing that most of the time we spent inside our rooms only enjoying the balcony view. Needless to say, the Rooms were so spacious that it given a super luxury feeling during our stay in the hotel. The level of micro ***agement of the Hotel on smallest of the needs of tourists is highly appreciable. To be honest, the Jewel Kongchen made our journey a memorable one and for that i thank the entire team from the bottom of my heart.

Recently I had visited Lachung with family stayed one night at room no 8 that is family room. Room is excellent but no balcony. Clean and all aminites with centralized Heather but only drawback no 24*7 electricity they will provide candels in the room. Genset is available from 6 to 10 PM in night and from 5 AM to 10 AM in the morning. No invertor lights in room or toilet. So in case of power cut total Blac out in toilet. Food is good, however you have to order as per the timing of the resturant. Staff will not be available in night. Please check the expiry dates of toiletries before use.

This hotel is luxurious, lavish and extremely hygienic. At check-in we were greeted by a receptionist who handed us the keys. The room was in general well-kept. Extra bed, towels and toiletries were provided on-de***d. However, as soon as we stepped into the room, we were greeted with an electric blackout. What is not expected by guests at such an expensive hotel is that you have timings for the generator! Guests are paying so much money! The least we could expect is 24/7 generator backup! The intercom ceased to work, so we had to approach the reception who refused to switch on the generator even at 6 PM, which was an hour after which it was supposed to be switched on. Finally, power was restored by the generator, after we de***ded it. However, hot water took time. At the restaurant, we were told that we were the only guests in the hotel for the next couple of days hence, the buffet was not available. The food at both breakfast and dinner was amazing however, the breakfast service was rather slow. The restaurant was soothing to look at with an all-white interior. Day one was full of problems. However, the second day went flawlessly with exceptional service. We ended our stay with a picture at the panoramic views offered at the premises and outside seating areas.

Awesome staff behavior and superb room. Beautiful view , good hot fooods and bevarages . A huge stock of books which will give you pleasure in night time. All kind of amenities in room like big sceen tv , electric kettle for tea and coffee.

You can’t ask for more in Lachung. This hote has central heating, a proper restaurant, lift and 24*7 hot water supply. We got an upgrade to a room with balcony and that made it even pleasant. Rooms were clean and had everything which u can ask for. There was iron board, iron, kettle, extra blanket, slippers and everything u can think of. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Food was very nice too. You won’t be disappointed unless you reach there expecting a Taj or Marriott.

The hotel is beautifully located with a welcoming staff which is very helpful and courteous. The amenities are amazing and well suited for the climate. It's the only hotel in the area which is centrally heated and has a lift. The food was also wonderful!

Very well-maintained and clean hotel. Situated at a convenient spot in Lachung, and all rooms have some mountain view. We were served very well by ***ager Naveen Limbu, and his staff, Munna and Su***. In the restaurant, Bharat and Anurag's smiling faces made our days start very happy. Will be back with my family for sure!

Pros: Helpful staff Cons: No power backup (we were in dark during most of our stay while other average hotels around had power backup). Food is oily and very costly. Cocktail is costlier than a 5 star hotel (Rs. 800 !!). Soap dispenser was empty.
