Baymont by Wyndham Lake City

Had to wait 10 minutes for the front desk clerk to show up. Pillows in room are extremely small. Dust found through out the room.

When I arrived at the motel I, as well as other motel guests, had to wait for a desk clerk to show up for 15 minutes..No one was in the office. The motel advertised two breakfasts were included in the quoted rate that I prepaid to us.trip.com but there was a sign at the check in office that stated because of covid there was no breakfast. (Covid in August 2022...every other motel has a breakfast and do not use this excuse not to honor the rate that was quoted.) Because of no breakfast I demanded my money back..this is false advertising and us.trip.com is still allowing this false advertising. They refused to return my money. I had no choice but to stay there. This place is a dump. There was no toilet paper in the room.There were no drinking cups in the room. I had to go to the office not once but twice to request these missing items. The room was filthy. It looked as though it had not been dusted in over a month. The floors were sticky to the touch. There was no trash can in the bathroom. The room had a bad odor. The bath tub had mold on the caulking. There was no water pressure in the shower. The coffee maker was missing the tray that holds the coffee pouches and therefore no coffee could be made. How this place is still allowed on the booking site "us.trip.com" is a mystery to me. By this booking site allowing it to still be listed is a real disservice to the traveling public. I will be following up with the proper authorities in the state of Florida to report these false advertising activities.

The hotel is in a good spot very convenient didn't like the fact that the room did not have a shower curtain and the room also had roaches and the pet fee was expensive other than that the hotel site looks nice

The staff should not be blamed for the hotel. The pictures on line are no where near accurate. The furniture is old & worn, the carpet and tile damaged and needing to be replaced, the bathroom rusted, stained tile & grout, tiolet bowl permanently stained and would take 3 flushes for liquid only. The bedding and linens were no better. Cigarette burn joles in the sheets, ratty towels, dirty curtains, pillows flattened due to use. The tv didn't work, we brushed our teeth and washed our hands using bottled water and our beach towels to clean up....i didn't trust the water. Why did we stay the night? It was late. No other area hotels had rooms. The one tome i fidnt read reviews before booking. I trusted the pictures and price. When we checked on they had given our room away, gave us another which hadn't been made up and we slept on our coats and beach towels and left 1st thing in the morning. Im leaving this review and my next review will be directly to Wyndham, this is their problem, responsibility and should be held to a higher standard. Absolutely shameful that they are making these employees at this property hold the bag for them.

Upon arrival to use the restroom. Shower still wet with hair inside. There were no clean towels or washcloths. Had to ask for towels which someone had to bring. The previous customer hygiene products were left on the sink. With their hair and dirt on it. Please refer to pictures. I didn’t shower here or use the bathroom at all just to be safe

You could tell why this was the only place left with rooms available that night. The grounds were littered and the room was low budget. The beds didn't even have matching blankets. What a dump
