The Lodges at Cresthaven

Love the view! Very nice accommodations. Indoor pool advertised like it was open, it was not. Only disappointment. We will definitely visit again.

The staff keeps up with the maintenance of the property. Very clean and loved the scenery especially with the lake.

The room and views was very nice. However, not having staff after 6pm was a horrible decision. The room next to our room was partying until 3am and no staff was there to reinforce the rules of quiet time from 10pm to 7am.

One of the cleanest/most modern hotels we’ve found on the lake. We love the rooms. Having a full kitchen and in room laundry is great. Amenities are pretty good. The kids love the heated pool, playground, game room (though there’s not much there) and beach. The place is also literally minutes to town and ten minutes to Bolton. That said, it’s starting to show it’s age. The dishwashers are old basic models, the stainless refrigerators are dented. Some of the wooden playground equipment is starting to deteriorate. Their were some deck boards you could see (not on our deck but others) in obvious need of replacement. Last time we stayed we had loose tiles on the deck. The carpet was frayed in some spots. I saw some patio furniture that was pretty beat. The rocks around the pool are starting to come loose. The pool itself is a very rough texture in need of marble dusting. The restaurant on site is only open limited days. One of those days it was supposed to be open it was closed for a wedding which wasn’t ideal. It’s a great resort in better shape with nicer rooms and amenities than most. You certainly pay a premium for it but it’s worth it. However if management doesn’t keep on top of the place I can see it slowly going downhill like a lot of the older resorts.

Beautiful property with beautiful views of Lake George. Loved the pool! Log cabin decor is very attractive.

The beach was not as nice as pictured. Tub is high and was difficult for my wife to get in and out of the shower. The bed was also difficult to get into as it was extremely high. They make you take your own trash to the dumpster. This is not acceptable when you are renting a room for two nights.

Its a very beautiful resort. But needs more light around the area at night. It becomes really dark. And checkout time should be 11am or 12pm. 10am is very early. Besides that its very very beautiful. 10/10 for it.
