Lake Placid Club Lodges

I never write reviews, as We are owners, and do not want people to think we are biased. We have owned here for 20 years. Each and every year we are amazed. Dealing with front desk reps are always so accommodating. Units are consistently and perfect upon arrival.Kitchens are totally equipt for anything you would desire.The “welcome binder” is the best we have ever seen! The landscaping is better and better each year. The free wifi is excellent, and smart Tv offers the ability to stream all of your favorites. Location to restaurants and venues is awesome. Two bedrooms, Loft and extra pullouts!

Lake Placid Club lodges has a great location, close to town, Olympic venues, Saranac lake and all the restaurants! Easy daily walk around the lake! The units are spacious, well equipped, easy to get to and have beautiful views! We have been returning for years and love everything about them!

This was our first stay, ever, in the Lake Placid area. This is an absolutely drop-dead gorgeous area, and outdoor sports person dream come true. The 700 yard long "downtown" in the village has numerous bars and restaurants, plus boutiques, to peruse after an active day. The Lake Placid Club Lodges is perfectly situated to be close to the village and close to any outdoor activities. The large, well-maintained units, with fully equipped kitchens, allow for a comfortable gathering place for a group of friends and/or relatives. Just a 10 minute walk to Starbucks. Being there for a full week allowed for many interactions with the staff, all of whom were friendly and informative. The coffee table information binder is the best I have ever seen in a resort, well organized and very complete, and allows you to give Google a rest during your stay. The front desk staff (Heather, Jean), the cleaning staff, and the maintenance crew, were all friendly in any interactions, and reflect the efforts and capabilities of the management (Judy, Bonny). Try to include it in your planning, if you hope to visit the area in the future.

We always enjoys our stays at this resort. This year, the snow was less than hoped for - but we still were able to enjoy the area dining, sight-seeing, and even ice skating in town. One of our favorite daily activities when staying at this resort is a good walk around Mirror Lake with a stop or two in the town for coffee or a meal. When the weather cooperates, you can cross country ski on the golf course groomed trails for no fee. We have been returning to this resort for the last 10-12 years whenever we can get a reservation.

Good winter escape for skiing and relaxing. Many hiking trails in the area. The downtown empties during the week, but comes alive on the weekend. Whiteface Mountain is a few miles out of town but a shuttle is available.

This resort is on a golf course and near Lake Placid village. Lots to do in any season. We had a 2 bedroom unit for 4 adults. The kitchen is very well equipped. A real wood fireplace, patio and balcony. It was very cold we did not use these. The loft space has a sofa bed which could sleep 2. No in unit laundry. Our unit (63) had a lovely view of Mirror Lake and easy walk to trail around the Lake. Warmer weather you could walk to the village. My only issue was beds where a bit hard for me. Design of 2 bedrooms up with one bathroom and large bathroom with soaking tub and sauna on first floor is unusual.

Weather was perfect, light snow everyday. Enjoyed snowshoeing right out of our unit onto the golf course. 3 mile run/walk around Mirror Lake, the best! Walkable to town, Farmhouse cafe for breakfast! Dinners at Purple Sage, The Cottage, Interlaken and Lake Placid pub and brewery! All great spots. Love Lake Placid, been coming here since I worked at the 1980 winter Olympics, lots of great memories!! Our sons learned to ski at whiteface, and xx at mt van hovenburg. Olympic arena and outdoor skating on the oval always fun!! will be back for sure!!

Lake Placid Club Lodges is a great resort. The location allows you to walk into town, the units are spacious, clean and well maintained. The resort staff is friendly and helpful. There are two bedrooms in each unit but the loft is easily used as a third bedroom, although the pullout sofa bed is not that comfortable so bring a mattress topper to alleviate that problem. Everything you need is in the units, the kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, bowls, cutlery, etc and the table seats 8 with room for 3 more at the counter top. We have stayed in this resort before and we will be back. There are two ithings that the resort could do to make it even better, the first is to put king size beds in the master bedrooms and the second is to put washers and dryers in the units, there is plenty of room for both of these improvements. Other than that, the resort is perfect for our needs.

This was one of the best timeshares I have ever stayed in. The unit was huge and well maintained, the view was amazing. The location was perfect you could easily walk into town or go for a wonderful hike around the golf course. There was a functioning fireplace which I have never seen in a timeshare and we used it several times with wood that we were able to easily get delivered directly to the unit from the staff. The unit was very clean and well maintained and the kitchen was huge and fully stocked with utensels. We could not have been happier with this experience
