The chirpy web site was a pale image of a hotel and restaurant on it's last legs - unswept, unkempt, scruffy - curmudgeonly staff - dinner a good part of the menu was 'off', including the reasonably priced wines. Paying more produced a delicious bottle - but no compromise on price. A horrendous row with the belligerent cook who claimed to have been trained by Alain Ducasse... and so on. Do you need this?

We came upon this restaurant at about 13.25 - they were just closing but they kindly allowed us to stay for lunch. Everything was perfect - particularly the desserts. Wine was delicious and the price was so reasonable! ( We do live in Sydney though!) . We have been travelling along the Saone on our boat and this restaurant was a gem! We will be back next time.

We spent a lovely night here on our way north from the south of France. Charming helpful service and delicious food. The crème brûlée was superb.We plan to make it a regular stop on our trips south and north

Hotel simple et propre. Salle de bain rénovée et très agréable en hiver car vous avez la main sur le chauffage de la chambre comme de la salle de bain. Le dîner comme le petit déjeuner sont simple et bon. Hotel calme, tout petit prix et bien accueilli.

Accueil chaleureux par le jeune couple qui gère à merveilles cet hôtel Chambre un peu vieillotte mais très bien aménagée et spacieuse Piscine et grande terrasse, très bonne restauration Endroit très calme idéal pour se ressourcer Nous vous recommandons vraiment cet hôtel

Le +++ de cet hôtel: le personnel très à l’écoute, discret et surtout agréable et sympathique Les infrastructures disponibles (piscine spa…) sont un atout. Attention toutefois au risque de glissade avec les chaussons ☺️; mais l’hôtel portée sur la satisfaction client cherchait déjà à supprimer ce risque. La carte du restaurant; petite est pour nous souvent gage de qualité. Nous avons d’ailleurs apprécié le repas pris au restaurant. Les chambres sont agréables et propres. La seule optimisation serait sur l’emplacement du lit et/ou de la climatisation car elle souffle directement sur le lit; ce qui peut gêner. Hôtel bien situé pour les cyclistes qui veulent pédaler sur les avenues vertes/bleues C’est un hôtel que nous recommandons surtout pour aller à la rencontre de maîtres d’hôtel à l’écoute et soucieux du bien être de ses clients !
