Galini Mare

Very good location, close to beach and Port. Stunning view from our room. Delicious breakfast with a good selection to choose from. Very helpful staff. Friendly greeting on arrival and given information regarding location.

We spent 3 nights at Galini Mare, and everything was perfect. The b&b is located in the highest part of Agia Galini, but has free parking next to the main structure, and you can reach the port and the town center with a five minutes walk. The room was pretty and cleaned every day, with a wonderful view of the bay. You'll find all you need for your stay, like coffee and water in the fridge. Harris and Elena are perfect hosts, always ready to help you with advice and whatever you need. When we'll be back to Agia Galini, we already know where to stay! Just misses the mark. The property has a great location, sea view, close to town and beach. Harris & Elena friendly. However, breakfast is poor (don’t bother). The room cleaning consisted of a sweep that just moved the dust to the corners - use a mop? A mop would also come in handy for the bathroom as it flooded every time we showered and the water didn’t run towards the drain hole, we had to use towels to mop the floor dry to use toilet and sink. I don’t think under the bed was ever cleaned. Window blind was damaged with the bottom cut off/ fraying and cupboard door needed wiggling to open. Generally the decor is tired and needs refreshing. There is a lot of potential at Galini Mare just a little more care and work needed?

We stayed at Galini Mare last week, whilst I can confirm the hosts are friendly, and the location and view from a balconied room was spectacular, I feel the hotel pictures and descriptions are no longer a true representation of what greets you . We stayed in one of the balconied rooms that overlooks the yes amazing view as depicted on the photo. But sadly the hotel needs some maintenance to bring to its former glory. As a cautionary note, I would recommend fellow travellers to look at the size of the rooms to see if fit for purpose the rooms with Balcony are tiny, and the bathroom is also tiny with an open shower which is not practical and leads to everywhere getting wet and no where to store toiletries . It is also worth mentioning that the balconies (apart from one) are intimately close to the neighbour. (This might be an issue for non smokers staying next to smokers, or simply wanting some privacy. The positives; accommodating friendly hosts, clean room, comfortable bed, good aircon, free parking close by, good location to beach and the pretty town centre which has some good restaurants and bars. We fully appreciate that times have been tough for many hoteliers but sadly I cannot rate our stay higher as we did not feel it offered good value for money in its current state and the impracticality of the room to ensure a comfortable stay.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Had a great view of the coast and beaches. It is up the road from the tourist part of the city and beaches. Small hotel and the owner was very gracious.. Was there for 2 nights and have friends who also have spent time there and liked it.

We stayed at hotel Galini Mare located in Agia Galini for 3 nights, and we have had a wonderful stay! The owners, Harris and Elena, know exactly what Hospitality means: Their personal touch can be found in the smallest details, such as the selfmade preserves for breakfast, and the amazing prepared cherries from Elena which we put through our greek yoghurt. On top of that, they both gave us a true welcoming feeling from the start, where it soon felt like we were talking to acquaintances. We booked a sea view room with balcony, which I can highly recommend. Every morning waking up with a view as can be seen in the picture give us the holiday feeling we were looking for. That, combined with a nice bed with additional topper on the mattress, a well working AC, and a coffee machine on the room made our stay perfect! Can you imagine opening the curtains in the morning watching the sea with a fresh made cup of coffee?.. it’s the best! Good tip for future guests: if you need anything, e.g. an extra pillow, a cattle on the room or advice about what to do in the area, just ask. You will be amazed how well both Harris and Elena will be able to help you fulfill your needs. We will definitely return to this hotel! Thanks Harris and Elena for the wonderful stay!

Wir haben zwei wundervolle Osterferienwochen bei diesem superfreundlichen und bemühten Pärchen im beschaulichen Agia Galini verbracht,sie sind reizend,helfen bei allem aus (Sonnenschirme-Reisetipps,....)-unbedingte Empfehlung,für alle,die geiechische Herzenswärme wünschen♥️♥️

Excellent petit hôtel de 20 chambres très bien tenu par un jeune couple adorable Harris et Elena. Bien que l’hôtel était encore en préparation pour la saison à venir pas de petit déjeuner proposé mais charmante attention le premier matin avec un thé et des sucreries. Bien sûr les meilleures chambres sont celles face à la mer avec petit balcon. Confort sommaire mais suffisant à prix doux hors saison. A recommander absolument. A voir si service tenu en pleine saison. Petite station charmante mais plage quelconque

Os colchões eram impossíveis... difícil dormir, sem nenhum conforto. Difícil controlar a água quente, a avaliação está incorrecta. Só a localização e o pessoal estão bem.
