*Full Disclosure* we never made it there, but we couldn't write a review without checking those off. However something weird was going on.
We submitted for a cancellation the day off as we were stuck in Canada. We sent in an appeal to cancel in hopes to get some money back. Trip.com called us and said the hotel won't consider it as we apparently already "checked in" which was physically impossible. I called them myself and told them I'm not there and noone else knows about the reservation, so it's impossible. The lady said there's nothing she can do, and that I'd have to call back the next day and speak to the manager. The only other people who had my booking information, and knew we were requesting to cancel and would not be there, was the hotel. Whoever checked in would have needed that information. As well they would have been unable to provide identification unless they coincidentally had the same name as me. You'd think if you told a hotel someone potentially checked in with false ID they'd be concerned, and not say "call back after they've already stayed a night". Draw your own concusions from what kind of establishment this is.
