Great value for the area. Gustavo at the front desk is a star. Super helpful and courteous. We had two different rooms during our stay. The first didn’t have a/c but we were provided 3 fans which was fine. The second was a very large room with a/c overlooking the front courtyard. Oddly the window was not overly tinted so we had to have the drapes pulled the whole time. Breakfast service was good and the one meal we had in the evening was great. The back courtyard led directly to the beach which was a great bonus. The colour of the pool water was a little off putting and the shower lacked water pressure. Neither of these things were deal breakers. Overall a great stay. Would recommend

I stayed ten days in El Belga Loco and enjoyed everything. The room was nice with everything you need and the bed was very comfortable. Although the rooms are in the back I slept every night very well listening to the sounds of the waves. The common area with a pool and some hammocks is a pleasant place to hang around and relax. Everything is very clean. It is a bit outside from the center and most of the restaurants (but there are some very good restaurants close to the hotel). And to be away means on the other hand, you have the whole beautiful beach on your own and it is very nice and clean (compared to other parts of the beach). When you like it quiet its a perfect place. Unfortunately it is a bit diffucult to swim there (especially at high tide). But they have good bikes for free , so you can always easily reach all places around. The people in the hotel were all very friendly and helpful and organized everything I needed immediately. Thank you for the nice time, I hope I´ll come back one day.

Their staff is pretty amazing specially Gustavo, the owner Silvana warmly welcomes you! The hostal is beautiful, clean and comfortable rooms and common spaces. We love it there! I Highly recommend this place! Close to good restaurants. The zone is quite and secure

The staff and owners were very helpful and pleasant. The owner even went so far as to cook some food for my little service dog. I highly recommend the hotel.

Very peaceful, clean and spacious room with ice air conditioning and inches to ⛱️ beach, swimming 🏊‍♀️ pool, pool table,maca and excellent service also delicious food yummy food. Thank you lisbea y cynthia ❤️ 15 minutes to central León by bus or car. Excellent price for spacious rooms and georgious sunset.

The local guy that checked me in was very pleasant and responsive to my needs. He was able to change me into another room because the AC that I had to pay an extra $10 per night didn't work. He referred me to a great restaurant (Bertha) that served delicious local food. I didn't appreciate receiving a message after I booked the room with fine prints that should be on the listing for tbe hotel so I and everyone else can make a decision about whether or not to select that hotel based on those conditions. The room have AC, but it is an extra charge of $10 per night to get the remote to use the AC. You are not allowed to bring your own food and beverages to the hotel. Wi-fi was very limited. Ordering dinner at the hotel ended at 6 pm. I ordered dinner the first night, it was delicious (the food is not made at the hotel, it is made at a restaurant and delivered to the hotel). I was told by the guy working the day shift that the food arrived. I was in the shower when he told me that. I told him I would be out when I was finish. Maybe 30 minutes later, the guy working at night come and knocks on my door to tell me my food is there. I am not sure why he did that when I already communicated to the first person that I would come when I was ready, and the guy on day shift was still at the hotel and remained at the hotel for at least another hour and a half after that second guy knocked on my door. The whole thing was really annoying & creepy. Also, there no hot water.

What a hidden gem . Highly recommend choosing this place

Petit hôtel intime, piscine et plage. Très tranquille. Bon service du personnel et la nourriture est bonne.

3x een overnachting geboekt in el Belga loco tijdens onze rondreis in Nicaragua.Fijn,rustig kleinschalig hotelletje: fraai gelegen aan het strand: ideaal om een prachtige zonsondergang te bewonderen. Vriendelijke eigenaren & personeel,keuze uit een 5-tal ontbijten,schappelijke prijzen in de bar.Wij vonden het daar top.Het verderop gelegen restaurant Sue is zeker ook een aanrader.
