Staff was great, location was very convenient. The room smelled like cigarette smoke, even though it’s been non smoking for a long time. The bed was clean and comfortable. The carpet looked clean. The walls need some drywall and paint work, the chairs need new fabric and I needed to use a butterfly clip to hold the window curtains closed.
If the room was $75 per night I wouldn’t have written this, but because it was a bit more, I expected more.

We stay here when we come to events at Penn's Peak and rooms are clean, and everything is in proper working order. However, the diner 2 doors down, Beacon 443, is absolutely terrible. Go to the Boulevard instead 😁

IT WAS WHAT I WOULD CALL QUAINT......SOMEWHAT OUTDATED BUT IT WAS PART OF THE CHARM......VERY CLEAN ..NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL....A GOO0D VALUE COMPARSD TO WHAT IS AROUND THE AERA....

This was advertised as being $80.00 a night. At check in I was charged $90.00 plus tax. False information. The room was fine but not as pictured!

The place is old, dated, chipped paint, blankets have burned holes and the hvac system is noisy. Not their fault, but a stink bug on the sheets.
Won’t stay here again!

The room stated non-smoking but smelled of smoke when we entered the room. Windows did not lock. No coffee maker in the room. Bathroom was dirty. The table tops all were dirty. The heater kept coming on every 5 mins and it was loud. There were stink bugs on the wall. I doubt we will go there again. Very disappointed - room did not look like the picture.

Very cozy and rustic. A little dated but it added to the charm. Continental breakfast was very fresh, coffee was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were so comfortable. We had a beautiful view of the mountains behind us. Will definitely be coming back!

Since I found this hotel, I won't stay anywhere else when I'm in PA. The cleanliness is utterly immaculate!
Staff is friendly, close to amenities, free continental breakfast. I can go on and on...

My experience was for a short overnight stay. Checking in was extremely easy, the woman at the desk was friendly and helpful.
Parking was located right by the room entrance, very convenient. The rooms were clean and had anything needed for a short stay. The location was very quiet. Would stay again!
