Art Hotel City Leipzig

We found everything at the hotel to be top notch. The rooms were the right size with comfortable beds. Nice shower and double sink in the bathroom a plus. The breakfast buffet provided a fine variety of good quality food. Appreciated the vegetarian/vegan options though did not need them. Located a short walk from the train station, center city and the zoo, the hotel provides a perfect place from which to visit Leipzig.

Nice, clean and modern hotel in a safe, central area of the city, at walking distance from the old town and central station. All the amenities everywhere, not big, but very well organized and pleasant. The room was big enough and with everything you need: tea and coffee facilities, good and functional storage space, couch , spotlessly clean, good quality products in the bathroom, well maintained furniture, safe, fridge, green options for helping nature. Breakfast was very good and tasty with fresh and good quality cold and savoury products, a large choice and never missing anything. Very nice and efficient staff, quiet and comfortable everywhere. I definitely recommend this hotel.

We walked from the train station in under ten minutes. Google maps wasn't the best but we got there via a rather circuitous route. Receptionist was very helpful and 2/3 of us could check in early- always welcome. Rooms were pretty small and basic but for two nights perfectly adequate as was my wifi and it was handy to have a fridge to stash the drinks we bought in. I slept pretty well as it was a quiet room. Loads of shops and coffee bars/ restaurants nearby and really handy for the zoo and tram. The area felt safe and for a cheap break if the price is right we may stay here again. Breakfast was fine and warm gluten free bread was made available for a friend upon request.

Just the worst. Got to hotel just after 10pm: no-one there, hotel locked up. Phoned number on plaque outside but they were rude and totally unhelpful. Had to find another hotel, with young child in tow. Complained after I returned home. Hotel then lied about having sent someone to meet us, and rejected the complaint. A total disgrace and I will never visit again.

Ich als gebürtige Leipzigerin sowie 14 Jähriger Berufserfahrung in der Hotellerie sowie Gastronomie Brache bin maßlos Hallo enttäuscht von dem Arthotel und empfehle es nicht weiter trotz der Lage hat es nicht mehr zu bieten. Sehr unfreundliche Front Supervisor Frau M. Leopold. Bei der Anreise haben wir mit anderen Gästen ca. 25. min gewartet da die Rezeption nicht besetzt war um Einzuchecken. Es kam keine Entschuldigung für das lange warten aus Sie. Am besten war die Situation als wir nach eine Parkplatz Möglichkeit angefragt haben mit dem Hinweis das wir ein SUV haben und ob wir in die Garage passen die uns angeboten wurde. Das wir uns es gerne anschauen können und es kein Problem sei da die Maße 180cm hoch und 190 cm breit sind aber es noch genug Spielraum gibt. ( Sie meinte damit im Nachhinein wortwörtlich wir sollen aus dem Auto steigen und per Augenmaß schauen ob unser Auto da rein passt. ) wir sind natürlich reingefahren und hatten furchtbare Probleme, die Garage war sehr steil und ging ums Eck rum, weswegen wir uns dagegen entschieden haben und somit wieder rausgefahren sind. So das es keine andere Möglichkeit gab und wir beim rausfahren unser Auto beschädigt haben. Wäre die Garage unten vollbesetzt gewesen hätten wir keine Möglichkeit diese wieder zu verlassen. Na 25 Minuten haben wir es endlich geschafft. Und haben Frau Front Office Supervisore darauf hingewiesen. Da kam nur es wäre nicht ihre Schuld und wie oben genannt hätten wir ja aussteigen können und sie uns anschauen per Augenmaß ohne Entschuldigung. Nach einigen Stunden als wir vom Abendessen außerhalb zurück ins Hotel kamen, fielen die Worte, ich wollte mich entschuldigen das sie ihr Auto beschädigt haben aber sie hatte es uns ja gesagt. Und jeder Gast der sich nicht sicher ist steigt aus und guckt sich die Garage an. Alle Größen von Combi und mehr empfehlen wir auf keinen Fall die Garage zu nutzen. Zimmer war auch Semi sauber mit Fusseln und 2 Haaren auf der Bettwäsche sowie nicht funktionierenden Steckdosen. Und wenn man einmal den Fernseher angemacht hat und ihn abends ausgeschalten hat weil man zu Bett ging, ging er aus und nach einigen Sekunden von alleine wieder an. Und das mehrere male. Lieber ein paar Euro mehr ausgeben und weniger Ärger.
