My niece and I stayed at the hotel as part of a hiking trip. The hotel is centrally located. The reception folks were very welcoming and eager to answer any questions we had about the town and the train schedule. The room was large and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The room was clean and the balcony was a great place to hang out and watch the world go by. Breakfast is in a large, light filled room. The food was great!

Picked the hotel based on reviews, and because we wanted to revisit the Lenk-Zweisimmen area where we'd stayed before. About the sole positive points are the friendly staff, and the central location in town. Pool is okay but quite gloomy in the setup, and some maintenance issues. And dinner restaurant had a good menu and decent prices. Breakfast claims 3 star but with exactly 1 hot dish (boiled eggs) is closer to 2 stars. Same for the rooms, we had one with balcony; 20 square meters as advertised, but a really crammed bathroom with too small tub and lots of broken things. Like a showerhead that sprays 360' around and a broken WC seat. Beds are a bit comfy but on the low side, and again the crammed space makes it hard to access them; moreover we needed to leave the window open for ventilation which meant hearing the loud church bell every hour. Why they dare to book this (room with balcony) for over 200 francs in June when comparable accommodation in nearby Kandersteg or Adelboden asks 150 is beyond logic. It is 2 stars not 3, and without major refurb only attractive for tour groups (at a discounted rate).

C'est notre troisième séjour dans cet hôtel, parfait au niveau de son emplacement : face à l'arrêt de bus. Néanmoins, les prix sont élevés pour une chambre extrêmement vieillotte, cette année, plus personne ne parle français à la réception, le local à skis a été pris d'assaut par une équipe de jeunes skieurs en compétition : les bancs étaient retournés les uns sur les autres, au moins trois tables de préparation pour les skis encombraient le local en plus des câbles électriques des machines utilisées, on n'arrivait pas à s'installer pour chausser ses souliers, ni après à ranger ses skis et mettre ses souliers à sécher. Ça a duré (pour nous) du Jeudi à midi, le soir, le vendredi fin de matinée, à 16 h, le local était enfin redevenu praticable ! Cerise sur le gâteau : le vendredi matin, pas d'eau chaude à la douche, même pas tiède 😤 Aucune excuse du personnel : "le technicien arrive"....et pas le moindre geste commercial pour contrebalancer ces désagréments à la chaîne, même pas une boisson chaude proposée. Nous avons trouvé l'ambiance bien péjorée par rapport à nos précédentes visites.

Mittagessen im Kreuz mit Freunden. Suure Mocke mega fein. Die Pizza nicht von einer Pizzeria top ( meine ist aber immer noch die beste) Aber die Bedienumg vom Griechen Stefanos: So etwas vom feinsten haben wir schon lange nicht mehr erlebt. Toll😀

Sehr gute Küche und extrem freundlicher Service. Wir waren eine Gruppe von 13 Personen und die erfahrene Dame aus Rumänien hatte stets alles im Griff und die Küche war sehr gut organisiert. Frühstückbuffet war auch ok, aber nicht mehr. Die Frage nach einem Cappuccino anstelle des üblichen Kannen Cafés hat keine Begeisterung ausgelöst, war dann aber sehr gut. Das Hotel hätte dringend eine Renovation nötig, Teppiche im Zimmer, eine Dusche aus den 60 Jahren, welche je nach Grösse des Gastes fast unmöglich ist zu gebrauchen, ein viel zu kleines Badezimmer etc etc sind im Verhältnis zum Zimmerpreis zwar ortsüblich aber nicht mehr zu rechtfertigen.

Unfreundlicher geht es nicht… Denke ich… Es war ein wunerschöner Sonntag an der prachtvollen Lenk. Unsere Verwandte besuchten uns, sie waren Gäste im Hotel und sehr zufrieden. Zum Abschluss traffen wir zum Kaffe und Dessert im Kreuz ein. Der unfreundlich Herr hatte uns kaum begrüsst un mürrisch den fünten Stuhl organisiert. Wir fühlten uns nicht willkommen. Alls wir fragten was der Tageskuchen sein, watschelt Mr Mürrisch ab, die unfreundliche Antwort war Schokolade. Der Kuchen kam, es war Schokolade/Kokosnuss und meine Tochter mag halt kein Kokosnuss. Wir haben Mr Mürrisch darauf aufmerksam gemacht. Er könne doch da nichts dafür, wenn die Küche ihm nicht die richtige Kucheninformation gäbe… Wir mussten den Kuchen nicht bezahlen, haben ihn auch nicht gegessen. Der Kuchen wurde dann aber demonstrativ nicht abgeräumt, 30 min sassen wir davor, das andere Dessert geschirr wurde weggeräumt… Sprachlos & traurig

Wir besuchten das Restaurant letzten Samstag und waren auf der ganzen Linie sehr enttäuscht. Das bestellte Piccata Milanese war eine mittlere Katastrophe. Spagetti und dazu gereichte Sauce quasi kalt. Speckwürfeli und Pilze waren vermutlich nur einige Sekunden in der Bratpfanne. Das Fleisch war ok, wenn auch eher etwas versalzen. Der Kellner ist auf unsere Reklamation kaum richtig eingegangen. Wir haben das Essen verzehrt und sind wieder gegangen. Dürfen wir Ihnen einen Kaffee anbieten? Fehlanzeige! Hoffentlich hatten wir einfach Pech.
