We have stayed at Elwood a few times now and when the rates are affordable, you can’t beat the location and convenience to campus. This time the AC/heat did not work in our room. By the time we figured it out, it was too late at night to do anything about it. Just made for an uncomfortable night. When we checked out, we let the front desk know and they were very apologetic. Otherwise we had a great experience. We went to the bar this time and had great cocktails and the bartender was cool and the live music was nice.

We stayed only one night and chose the Elwood as it was close to downtown, however we wish we would’ve extended our stay as it was such a lovely property. The rooms are very spacious, clean, comfortable and the decor was modern. We were greeted with a smile and had a comfortable stay

Overall a good stay. Quiet, clean and spacious room. Didn’t realize there were only 2 towels before getting in shower. And no extra pillows when getting into bed. Been nice to have those w/o having to ask. HVAC unit not working properly. When I mentioned it at check out, she offered us two free breakfasts. That was a very nice thing to do. It’s obvious the staff really cares about their hotel. I’d stay again, but I’d ask for those few extras beforehand next time.

My mom and I stayed here recently. Everything was really nice and the staff was very kind and helpful. My mom is in a wheelchair and we had no problem with accommodations.

Room size was great for Premier Double Queen room. Spacious. Quiet. Storage areas (closet, shelves near bathroom) were laid out well. We did not use the restaurant or bar but it looked comfortable and had a respectable number of diners there. 1st stay at this hotel & will return!

Clean rooms, spacious and quiet. Enjoyed the restaurant downstairs and the live music. Great service and good food. Would recommend to anyone headed to Lexington.
