And the pool area is just amazing.

Ggibo_27Location is great - situated very near the town proper and the tourism office. Just a few blocks away so you can walked your way through.
Room is very clean and the furnitures are relatively new. Hot shower is available. There are also dinnerwares available if you want to take out food from the nearby restaurants/carinderias. There is also a fridge and kettle. Netflix is also available.
Service is actually really great! The host even upgraded us from a budget room to a one bedroom unit. Only letdown for me is the toilet which I think needs to be wider. But overall, a great place to stay in Palompon while you are waiting for your tour to the island.

GGuest UserThe so called ”discounted” rate from Trip was in fact higher than the walk in rate. Breakfast was not included. The walk in rate included breakfast. There are very few hotel options in Tacloban. Asia Stars is ok. Not great, not bad, It's ok for 1-2 nights not more as the rooms are very small.

AAnonymous UserGreat service, we arrived around 7pm to check in and the staff opened the shower and pool lights to accommodate us since we want to go night swimming. The place is in front of Andok's, Petron, and Landbank. There's also a van terminal in front going to downtown/Tacloban so public transportation is very accessible. The room is spacious, we are 3 adults with luggages and we stayed on their standard room and it is not crowded inside. Rooms are in fron of the pool.

I called to give us towel and she give me only 1 piece as she said they still doing laundry 9 Pm at night. And they knows that it was booked for 2 person.

NNokiosIts a good place to stay becos is clean and paecefull place. Its located 500 meters to Ronbinson Mall and there are Mc Donalds and Jolibee very near even is not in downtown. The room is very clean and the workers are very kind with costumers.

CCal travel tripsNot sure if other hotels have or do not have hot water for shower. GV Hotel does not, please note. Also the shower is spacious but no seperate cubicle. The whole floor gets wet as you shower, may be a common feature in the tropical cities. Nevertheless, the proximity to SM Mall is the best feature, you can get everything in the Hypermarket and most of the popular food outlets under one roof, just a 2 minute walk opposite the same street. If you want to try the BBQ style, please visit first floor with very reasonable price. see photo here showing the menu.

BBumanisMe and my Wife went to Tacloban to see her family. This place was located next to beach resort, not far from shopping mall and lots of food places around. Also there's a 7/11 4min walking distance. AC wast the best, but kept me cool. Has WiFi although description say opposite. I would reckoned it if you need cheap place to just sleep at and next to beach. And very close to airport.

VValenciaThe location is very convenient. It was near all amenities like banks and restaurants. My only problem was, there is no lift for person like me who have knee problem. They were renovating the time we checked in so cleanliness went down for me.
