Amazing place. Lovely people, very helpful. Everything is clean and nice. Breakfast was amazing. House have a nice and interesting history. Mara - the lady who took care of us - she is just an angel. She’s soul is everywhere and you can feel it. Very good value for the money.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff beautiful rooms. Some are slightly dark so make sure you book one of the lighter rooms. Really restful place away from the hustle and bustle of Bilbao but still close enough to be able to visit the Guggenheim. Can highly recommend

beautiful old mansion full of antiques. modern facilities, pool and nice terrace, tasty full breakfast buffet. i really enjoyed my stay and won't forget the friendly and caring service. traditional spanish restaurants nearby.

We had a very nice stay at this location. Close to the Camino and a delicious breakfast to set you off in the morning. Great hospitality!

I stayed here one night on October 17, 2021. The "Premium Room" I stayed looked wonderful on the photos but this "Premium Room" I booked for 80.75 Euros was extremely poorly maintained, very dirty bathroom, broken sink, stained chairs and carpets, had rusted and cracked radiator. Please see the photos. When I complained about the room to the receptionist and took her to my room, she said she was sorry and she wouldn't charge me VAT, but she charged the full booking price to my credit card anyway.

We were amazed at this fantastic property and the very reasonable price we paid. We stayed in a fabulous room on the second floor called El Torre which had its own balcony overlooking the front entrance. We had to park on the road just outside but we weren’t concerned about that as it was a really quiet road. The major problem was that the night we stayed there it was National Cantabria day and all the restaurants in Liendo were closed together with those in the neighbouring town of Laredo. However we took a short walk to the local bar where basic food was available and had a hamburger supper, which was ok. The buffet breakfast was good with lots of choice, it started at 9am which was ok for us but maybe a bit late for some travellers. All the staff were really helpful, especially the afternoon receptionist who lent me her umbrella and the morning manageress who made us laugh as she said she was learning English by watching the Peaky Blinders series!!!! Overall, is was a great overnight stay en route to Andalucia and we would highly recommend it.

I visited this quaint hotel whilst touring with friends on motorbikes, but it's really one for taking your better half to. The whole place could have been plucked out of a fairy tale, with chunks of dark oak and oil paintings adorning the walls. The welcome from Mara was amazing, in fact almost too good. She WhatsApp'ed us before arriving to check everything was still OK, and then spent ages going though lots of details when we arrived, pointing out local restaurants, etc. Sensing we were a little bedraggled, she paused to go and get 5 beers from the honor bar whilst she continued her explanations. My brother stayed in room 3, and I'd definitely recommend this if you're a couple. It's the sort of hotel you'd pay £250 for in the UK. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed to park our bikes in the courtyard, but there was space on the main road just outside the gates. As others have commented, breakfast doesn't start until 9am, about the only thing I would call out as a negative. We had to be on a ferry by 10, so couldn't partake. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone passing through the area. Only 40 minutes away from the busy city of Bilboa, but very tranquil and a great way to start of finish your Spanish journey.

La decoración de las habitaciones espectacular con muebles antiguos preciosos y prácticos,luces, enchufes... el desayuno riquísimo y el entorno idílico.... cuidando cada detalle y cada rincón por donde miraras. Lo mejor la calidez de las personas... nos sentiamos muchísimo mejor que en casa! Gracias a Mar. Una apasionada de la zona, Ana y luz.. para repetir sin duda!! Y hay muchas excursiones y lugares de interés por liendo y alrededores.. gracias!!

La Torre de la Quintana est un magnifique hôtel historique, familial, plein de charme et arrangé avec goût. On s’y sent tout de suite bien accueilli. Le personnel est adorable et le petit déjeuner préparé avec amour. Nous avons particulièrement aimé cet endroit dont nous garderons le meilleur des souvenirs.
