Bridge the Gap

To be fair, I only took the room for a few hours because my flight was in the early morning and I was being picked up at 1:30am. Since I needed to check out of my previous hotel at noon, I wanted somewhere to relax and rest before leaving. However, this wasn't a very good choice. Although not far from a metro stop, the hostel is up a very, very steep hill - making it difficult and uncomfortable traversing there with even a small suitcase. Despite asking in advance for a lower bunk, so that I wouldn't disturb people when I left, only top bunks were left when I arrived. Since the top bunks don't have a "roof," and people were frequently turning the lights on, I wasn't able to sleep. In addition, because the room was so warm, the windows were open and the street noise was incredibly loud. I was thankful that I wasn't staying overnight. There wasn't a lock on the drawer for my belongings - that hasn't been the case when I've taken rooms at hostels before - so i wasn't really comfortable leaving belongings... which was the main purpose for getting the room to begin with. Finally, there were bugs or something in the bed, because I had bites on my arm and face.
The staff was very nice, but I definitely wouldn't stay again, nor would I recommend it.
