Having stayed in Liverpool a couple of times before, once at a hotel at the bottom of Mount Pleasant (never again) and once at a hotel further up Mount Pleasant that has now changed its name to Liverpool Inn, which was lovely back then, I thought I was booking the latter. I had a bit of a panic when I realised my mistake and gave them a call to explain that I was travelling with a child who has sensory issues and struggles with noise. I was told that it wasn’t a problem and they’d put us in the quietest room. The hotel is a short walk from the station and easy to find. We stayed in room 15 and it was massive with 2 single beds and a double, en suite bathroom with a large shower, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The room was spotless and definitely quiet. The staff were lovely, very friendly and chatty and happy to share their knowledge of the city. If we needed anything replenishing in the room we only had to ask at reception. After walking past the other hotel with the same name I’m so glad we didn’t stay there, the best mistake I’ve ever made was accidentally booking into the wrong hotel. Next time we need to travel to Liverpool we’ll definitely be staying there again
