Premier Inn Llanelli Central East

We are regular visitors to Premier Inns and know what to expect and they usually deliver. Like most this one was clean, quiet and comfortable. We had a meal in the restaurant and breakfast each morning. All pretty much as expected, although this is one of the older Premier Inns and starting to look a bit in need of a face lift. But check-in was chaos. It seems there is a new computer system that either doesn't work properly or the staff haven't been trained in how to use it. Our party, who had all made their own reservations, checked in at pretty much the same time, creating a huge queue as they were told they hadn't booked breakfast (they had) or they couldn't add a meal deal without altering the breakfast bookings. It was frustrating in the extreme after a long day driving. Then there was no orange juice at breakfast - this seems to be a current feature at all Premier Inns - be warned - take your own orange juice. I can't start the day without it. Other breakfast items are dispensable but not that. And other breakfast items were in fact fine, with hot food individually ordered & served so avoiding the rock-hard fried eggs of the buffet. Is it too expensive for them to buy orange juice now? Surely not. Some of our party had breakfast in the nearby Morrison's, which they said was much nicer and also cheaper. I didn't ask if they had orange juice, but I bet they did. All the staff were fairly friendly and as helpful as they could be but were clearly upset about the computer problems and the shortcomings with food deliveries

We stayed at Premier Inn Llanelli Central East for 2 nights prior to our wedding. All staff were fantastic and also helped print out some documents we forgot. We explained about our wedding and the reception staff gave us a box of chocolates to congratulate us. We also explained we would be back for 1 night prior to our min moon. When we returned they recognised us and asked how it went and we showed them photos. We were 30 minutes early but as our room was ready they let us check in. When we got to our room we found a 'just married' banner on the door and our room was decorated with a banner and balloons, a bottle of fizz and box of biscuits which was so unexpected. All the staff went over and above and we felt honoured and very special. Premier Inn management should be very proud of you all. Thank you all very much and we look forward to seeing you all again very soon.

We tend to visit this part of Wales 2/3 times a year to see elderly relative. Not only is the hotel walking distance to my relatives address but is very convenient to the shopping park and restaurant. In spite of being situated next to a dual carriageway we did not suffer any traffic noise. Only downside are the Rick hard pillows! Bring your own!

Great value and well located. Stayed due to a funeral and was met with friendly, polite and attentive staff on arrival. Great rooms which were spotless and a lovely bed. Meal deal was excellent value. Staff great and polite and friendly there at the restaurant too. Definitely stay again.

One night stay, room comfortable, clean, soft towels and heating/hot water good. Shower needs grab rail/s, dangerous without, fixed o/head shower head not user friendly. Meal deal good value. Staff VG

Just returned from excellent 2 night stay. Easy to park, friendly staff on reception and Beefeater next door also had lovely staff and good choice of meals. Brilliant value for money. Great meal deal offer on dinner and breakfast.

Excellent location for stay close to shopping and not far from town. Easy access and choice of fast food and pub restaurant. Overall hotel was good but had issue with toilet system but was offered a room change and the following morning cleaner tried to gain access to the room at 10 o clock even though we were still occupying it

Brilliant as usual always stay here when we visit our daughter and family good value for money great breakfast staff always friendly rooms always clean and comfortable rooms facing the road can be noisy

Enjoyed my stay. Very helpful and friendly staff, nice quiet room and great to have the Beefeater next door. The dinner and breakfast there were excellent with lovely staff. I also walked to the shopping centre a few minutes away. Location was great with convenient access to the M4. Top marks all round!
